(Right) Winging It at the DHS
National Review Online ^ | April 17, 2009 12 | Jonah Goldberg

Posted on 04/19/2009 9:06:38 PM PDT by Candor7

The Extremism and Radicalization Branch of the Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division of the Department of Homeland Security issued a report last week. It’s called “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.”

I had no idea there even was an ERBHETAD of the DHS working on the RECEPCFRRR.

Who among us doesn’t feel safer already?

The problem with it is that it makes little effort to document or demonstrate its contention that “extremist” groups are resurgent, that they are right-wing, or that they may be formed from the ranks of “disgruntled military veterans.” Worse, it’s very sloppy about what qualifies someone as “extremist” in the first place. Basically, it’s fancy bureaucratese for: We’re guessing bad people will do bad things because the economy is bad and the president is black. But we have no real evidence.

I feel familiarly unsafe with another government security agency run by a bitter old dyke named Janet.

Have we confirmed our current DHS Sec as a bull dyke, or is she just to darned homely to lasso a man - at least in anything other than a Kathy Bates "Misery" kind of way.

Uh, the Deviant Dyke has been well known for years as the citizens of Arizona embarrassed themselves by voting for her as Governor (the most nauseating episode in the State's history).

She's a frozen faced Stalinist queer who has one thing in mind...punish the white male heterosexuals who tried to hold back her little brand of frigid domination and control.

But if you want, you can just pretend she's a spinster, pining away her nights waiting for Mr. Right.

Not sure what sort of evidence you'd need, pictures maybe?

No, I've recently eaten. I'll take your word for it.

I had never heard of her before she was named head of DHS. Cleraly, I knew she was a dem, but I thought Arizona was a solidly conservative state. I'm just a little surprised she could go through a campaign and not have it come out. I didn't even know she wasn't married until I Wiki'd her tonight.

And now the Janet comes out. She spent a decade in Arizona hiding her real attitudes. And the RINO idiots in Arizona - like McCain - were too pansy to make it an issue. Woudldn't wanna upset anyone, right?

She frog marched a bunch of low rent white guys who had a kiddie militia into federal prison when she was Clintoon's Federal District Attorney there. This while massive drug trafficking operations simply did what they wanted while she looked the other direction.

Because she has no argument with them. She's a freak who agrees: the U.S. has no right to exist, and it's all our fault.

She probably bit her tongue every Sunday morning as she drove past the churches. She's been waiting ever since to get to this position where she can take out her revenge on the people she dearly hates the most....Americans.

You've got to be pulling my leg, no one in their right mind (outside of Soviet Russia) would dream up a name like that!

They never document anything. If they try; it’s a lie.

This was Napolitano's entre into Arizona politics: The Alleged "Viper Militia".

Once you read this, you'll realize that she pulls this stunt anytime she wants political power - like Morris Dees.

She claims Evil White Men - NAZI's all - are roaming the streets with machine guns ("assault weapons" of course) looking for any poor victim from any of the usual Protected Classes.

The whole thing was a trumped up hoax, just like her idiot report.

But this time the stupid Dyke did it on national TV, and now the backlash is going to be enormous. It damn well should be.

For those of you who don't understand, the fact is that Arizona Republicans tend libertarian, especially the female brand. That's how Napolitano kept getting elected: but mainly by concealing her real attitudes.

Gonna be a lot harder now to do that.

Was there any push back from Republicans in her confirmation hearing. Again, I really didn't pay any attention to the woman, or her appointment until this report was leaked.

It seems you are equating libertarians with, at the very least, RINOs. Sigh. And you were doing so well up to that point.

Well, as Napolitano herself put it: "I was the United States attorney for Arizona in the '90s when Timothy McVeigh bombed the Murrow building in Oklahoma City and unfortunately he was a vet -- that's where he got his training."

Training for what? He went to Indonesia, as a civilian, to get training from Muslim fundamentalists on making ANFO bombs.

But the report also outlines several motivations DHS claims leads to becoming a "right-wing extremist." Did Timothy McVeigh claim any of those motivations for his actions?

McVeigh didn't cite any of those issues as motivating factors. And he didn't get his bomb making training in the military. Ms. Napolitano, in spite of being a US attorney on the McVeigh case, seems to have remained more ignorant about T. McVeigh than your average couch potato with a TV set.

She's going to be a great Homeland Security Secretary! /s
