NEW YORK -- New York Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand are calling for the repeal of federal policy requiring records of gun background checks be destroyed after 24 hours.

The Democratic lawmakers say the Tiahrt Amendment restricts police from using gun trace information.

They said such information is crucial to cracking down on illegal gun trafficking and reducing gun violence.

Schumer and Gillibrand are urging President Barack Obama to reinstate a 90-day retention period.

Obama has said he supports the repeal of the amendment.

In the concentration camps, they also called the ones like Schumer, ‘Judenrats’.

he is just doing what most of the Jews did in Germany... being a "good" German.

Ya see, they obey the German laws and show how German they are. ..... right up to where they shove them in a ditch after loading them up in cattle cars.

Schumer is just hoping that this time maybe, just maybe his family will be spared.

I've got news for you Chucky. You're a "useful" idiot and will probably be the first ones hanging from the lamp posts. Look at what awaits you...listen to what is coming your way...Useful idiots

douche bag...

They are BOTH lying sacks of shiite. The Tiahrt Amendment does NOT restrict LEOs in any way. What it DOES restrict is pols like Chuck the Schmuck, Bloomberg and Richie Daley in Chicago from using the data for Civil lawsuits and Political Witch Hunts of Gun Owners.

Every Law Enforcement agency - including the BATF - want the Tiahrt Amendment kept as is.(1) It's only gun grabbing politicians and the Brady Bunch who want it repealed.

(1) This is from every search result I've found.

Hey Shuner...How does one reconcile being both a Jew, and a Nazi, at the same time?

He reconciles it as easily as his sugar daddy, George Soros does...

-- Repealing this law is a back door registration scheme. Soon the will keep the records for 90 days, then forever. --

The records are already kept in contravention of the law. There is no penalty for that.

What, you think they don’t already keep them forever regardless of what the law says?

What they want here is the ability to do fishing expeditions from the comfort and convenience of their own office.

NOTE: The 2nd Amendment is SELF-incorporated to all government entities at every level. It is MORE ABSOLUTE than the 1st Amendment, or any of the others, because the wording forbids not only CONGRESS, but ANYONE from infringing on it. The 1st says “Congress shall make no law...”. The 2nd say “shall NOT be infringed!” Period! End of debate!

“In the concentration camps, they also called the ones like Schumer, ‘Judenrats’.”

Actually they were kapos. The worst, the sickest, and the most sociopathic guys were elevated to block leaders, and Schumer and Soros are the types we are talking about.

The Judenrat was the governing body in the ghettos. Schumer would have been their too, and you are quite correct.

It wasn’t like the Judenrats didn’t end up in the concentration camps a few weeks or months later, and continue doing the same things there.
