Ping!
I think it’s a great idea not to count them. It makes zero sense, and I sincerely don’t think the founding fathers would have agreed that they should be counted. This is used to apportion representatives.
I don’t think you’re alone in this. Most of my life I lived in the southwest. My Mexican friends (we didn’t use the word Latino til later) were no different from me. They spoke English, some were kickers (cowboys) like I was, some were hippies, etc. They were melded into society, and no one thought much about it. Of course, there were the rougher kids, but they had nothing in common with my friends, other than that their forebearers came from the same country at some point.
The left tho, loves to divide us into groups so they can lead us around like the sheep they think we are.
Good for you. I appreciate your stand with our country. Standing behind Latinos just because you are one is racism pure and simple. Had Hillary won the nomination, I would not have voted for her just because she is a woman.
Our country needs more people willing to stand up and break generational racism!

They shouldn’t be counted to begin with.
I suspect they will then demand that the numbers be “massaged” to reflect the “undercount” that they will surely complain about.
Leaving it to D.C. to guestimate will only lead to weighted districts the dems want to claim or keep.
Can you imagine if the 40 to 50 million illegals were actually counted?
But they need to be. It would shock the populous. Hopefully in a good way.
It’s beyond “estimating the homeless”.
Life off the grid has consequences. For instance, you don’t get called for jury duty.
