The basic facts seem to be true, if you google for “April 18 air show Iran.”

Several credible sources say that a massive air show was scheduled. And I can’t read Iranian, but one blog that links to the Iranian site reports that it says that the show was cancelled because of bad weather.

I don’t know what the weather in Iran was on the 18th, but maybe someone could check that.

I agree that Debka is unreliable, but sometimes they seem to hear inside rumors. So this is at least POSSIBLE.

Or, who knows, maybe it was Gates and Obama who spotted the Israeli preparations and warned Iran. I wouldn’t put it past them.
