It is a combination of two varieties of swine influenza (one is Eurasian in origin), avian flu and human flu.
Yes, there is a genuine concern that this originated as a bioweapon, but there is no direct evidence other than the weird genetics of this influenza.

Sorry if I seem dramatic about this, but now is the time to stay home and hunker down. You have a better chance of surviving this flu if you are here rather than anywhere else in the world, that is presuming you contract the flu.
The chance of this being anything but an engineered strain is incredibly unlikely - we have human, porcine, and avian viruses from 4 separate continents combining into one fast-spreading virus that is killing an unlikely demographic with about 10% mortality (from what I can ascertain).
Now, as labs are always creating new flu strains, this doesn’t mean the virus was a deliberate act of bioterrorism (consider how Baxter recently shipped flu vaxes containing live avian flu to 18 countries). But truth be told, I’ll be surprised if it’s not.
I’m not aware that anyone has died outside of Mexico. I think we are way overdue for a pandemic, but I’m not ready to push the panic button on this one.
Most flu deaths are due to secondary infections in a respiratory system left vulnerable by the virus. However, influenza pneumonia can also kill directly, depending on how virulent the case and the overall condition of the host.
However, they are only good for about 20 minutes. After that the moisture that you routinely exhale breaks down the barrier and they lose a lot of their efficacy.

Just don't take too many. Your Liver tends to not like too much of that acetaminophen. I think 4,000mg(8x500mg pills) is the max one is supposed to take in 24hrs. I believe there are ways of separating and extracting the Codeine from the pills.
