30+ years ago I would agree with that sentiment but by and large all colleges drink the same kool aid these days even places like VMI. Government money, government dictated curriculum, and Marxist ideology. They are multicultural, multinational, non-denominational(even "Christian" colleges), "we are the world" morphing grounds.
We have been flooded with unlimited immigration since 1965 both legal and illegal with essentially open borders. Demographics with Marxist control and thinking dominate our national ideology, at least within government, industry and the MSM.

VMI was secessionist before and during the days of the war of northern aggression. That is probably why it made the list. Its rich history is one of the reasons I want my son to go there.

Agreed, their history is rich but if that is why Tim Kaine's State Police placed them on this list; that's really, really reaching.
