Again???

Still???

Surprised congress even listens to this nut....or asks him any questions at all.

On the other hand, most of congress likes to listen to lies...it's what they're most familiar with.

Lying to congress is a crime even without an oath. Tejada recently pled guilty to just that and he was never placed under oath.

Al Gore reminds me of Forrest Gump. Dumb as dirt, but somehow manages to parlay it into a fortune. Gore's wealth has gone from $2M to $200M since he lost the 2000 election. Bubba Gump Carbon Credits, anyone?

Beam me to Planet Gore !

I used to argue against Gore and the GW types all the time, on a local blog.

I DO think that it is important to take Gore down several pegs, but this has been by experience:

The “peer reviewed scientist” types will distance themselves from Gore, when Gore screws up, and they will not take any responsibility for his inaccuracies, when Gore is clearly wrong.

I am not sure how successful that approach will be, if we can REALLY deflate the Gore bubble.

I think we should do it, however. There is nobody out there to take Gore's place, if we take Gore down, is there?

Also, if we make Gore a huge target, and we make sure we have our facts straight, it might discourage anyone else from taking up the GW hoax to the extent that Gore has done.

The nation is suffering from a plague of out office Democrat assholes.

It doesn’t help to have so many STILL in office.

Remember.....Al Gore hates the American people because he spent his whole life, running for President and the people wouldn’t elect him. Global Warming is his revenge against the American people.....even those that agree with him.

I think uttering fancy scientific words and acting like he understands their meaning makes Weird Al feel important.

An afterthought - can they recall him and ask him why he lied?

Gore’s partnership with Kleiner-Perkins and their investments in the O&G business run a lot deeper than just this Terralliance deal. I cannot get into the others I’m aware of, for contractual reasons, but this hypocrite bleeds lies, half-truths and dodges more than many will ever know.

Gore is the ugly poster boy/it for lying left wingers.

When does Al Gore lie?

Whenever he opens his mouth.

I think uttering fancy scientific words and acting like he understands their meaning makes Weird Al feel important.

It's easy for a nut to gain high cultural status accidentally, when the populace is too dumb to tell the difference.

Understanding (as opposed to learning) can be divided into four categories Hard Science, Soft Science, Gray Science, a combination of the first two, and Clinical Obsession (often mischaracterized as religion.) Confounding all these is the introduction of politics into the mix.

The mass confusion is harmless enough, so long as the insane are not in a position of status, whether elected or honorific (Nobel Prize.)

The virtue and the damnation of both our system of government and our social contract is the "equality principle" taken to the absurd, and the results speak for themselves.

Anyone who, for instance, makes a serious effort to determine the top 10 TV programs today without a profound feeling of uneasiness, is simply not paying attention. All those viewers vote.

I have viewed this as the new dark Ages not uniquely, but mostly american. It has had the U.S.A. in its increasingly uncompromising grip since the late 60s.
