Thats a good way to beat the Estate Tax. Marry a Parent before they die. And then Marry your Child before you go. The Hacks will have a complete meltdown over the possibility of no more Estate Taxes.

Matthew Houde, D-Lebanon, said many younger voters in the state have already concluded that same-sex marriage is acceptable, and are waiting for lawmakers to catch up to them. “This is not a question of ‘if’ for me. It’s a question of ‘when.’ We should be eager to be on the right side of this issue,” Houde said.

The good news is that there has to be a compromise between the House and Senate versions and there may be a problem with that.

This is the key point. The short term is pretty much a lost cause for the GOP; they therefore need to figure out how to retool their message for the next generation.
