Bonus question: Which of the above mentioned counties cracked down on illegals?
Did property values really drop much in Fairfax County? I can’t imagine they did—it’s one of the richest counties in the nation.
Virginia is one of the most beautiful states I've traveled to, but gee wizz the cost of living is high.
I lived in Winchester. Very historic, nice atmosphere.
Housing was not very affordable back when I live there. A 1200 sq ft ranch home went for about $130-150k.
Virginia has awesome parks and roadside rest stops. Heck, the rest stops looked like mansions.
Commonwealth of Virginia......cause the government is commonly more wealthy than it's citizens.
Prices dropped, but counties like Fairfax made up for the lost revenue by increassing the assessment tax rate.
