The mother of two children who are being adopted by gay men even though their grandparents want to care for them wept yesterday as she told of her final meeting with her son and daughter.
‘I told them, “Listen, Mummy is not going to see you for a while”,’ she said. Her son replied: ‘But Mummy, I want to come and stay with you and Granny and Grandad.’
Their grandparents spent two years fighting for the right to care for the children, whose 26-year-old mother is a recovering heroin addict. She desperately wanted her parents to look after them.
But social workers said their ages – he is 59 and she is 46 – and their health – he has angina and she is diabetic – ruled them out.
The mother told the Mail that she had been ordered to say her goodbyes to the children last August during a trip to Edinburgh Zoo. ‘They told me not to cry and be strong so as not to upset the children,’ she said. ‘How can you tell a mother that when she’s never going to see her children again?
She voiced her anger at the decision to allow her son and daughter to be fostered by a homosexual couple.
‘I did not under any circumstances want my children to be placed with gay men. I wanted them to have a mum and a dad.
‘They can’t be telling me that, within a 60-mile radius, the only people they could find to look after my children were two men.
‘I’ve got nothing against gay people. I’ve got gay friends, but children need a mum and a dad, not a dad and another dad.

But the prospective adoptive parents are gay men. I mean what choice do they have? A couple of virile gay men to take care of the kids or a couple of elderly grandparents who love kid? This is what you get once you adopt all these “well intentioned nondiscrimination” laws it then makes it extremely difficult not to give those who are of special categories precedence especially if they have some king of sexual peculiarity. This is an old story I missed from the beginning of the year. Isn’t it interesting the media had little time to cover it? No Nancy Grace or and Greta? Not even any Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh. We are going to lose this battle and find our world remade if we don’t stand up to this. People moan and groan about global warming, well what in the hell do you think Abortion and Gay rights are. They are no better. They started out with the same political pseudo scientific lies the only difference is that far too many Republicans have bought into them because they are cowards and more parasites to the cause than worth anything for as little as they can reason on their own.
The modern left is built on a collection of myths and lies and far too many Republicans who don’t have the intellect or will to challenge them too happy to sip cocktails while sharing a political hot tub with their counterparts on the left. These issues social and fiscal are not different. The same reasoning that supports fiscal policies that work should oppose social systems that don’t. Liberalism has ruined our society and spawned a generation of selfish hedonists whose children are more likely to end up in prison for one reason and one reason alone because they don’t have a mother and a father.
The experiment has failed. It is time to end it.
Well, how are gays going to "reproduce", other than by seducing other people's kids?
What a travesty. Parents should have the right to have a say in where their children end up. The kids should have a say as well. Those kids are going to hate those men and the government.
Those grandparents, who are not that old, had better watch it. If they get ill, they’re going to be classified as useless eaters. Angina and diabetes at their ages are not enough to disqualify them from raising those children. They can manage to stay in good enough health for the few remaining years of those kids childhood.
Picture the kid accidentally walking into their “dads” having sex. This is beyond sick. Just thinking about it makes me ill.
He’s going to be raised being abused and molested.
Here, we wouldn’t consider their health problems to be of issue. Over there, even though the health care is free, it has limitations and long wait times for certain things. I wonder if that plays into the equation. I don’t agree with what is happening. I would think the grandparents would be able to care for the kids, and if not, there must be another family that would take them.
What are the grandparents going to do now? It seems like their lives are pretty much over and they are not even old or ill enough for the mercy of an impending death.
I’m certain that the two gay men will drive both children to drug abuse, mental illness, and a whole host of other problems. There is nothing but misery here and there is absolutely no hope. Welcome to hell.
Since their existence is based upon destruction and not procreation, they have to indoctrinate and abuse others into their “lifestyle”. Now they have the force of government on their side.
The state is more powerful than God. Abandon all hope.

Scotland has a lot of social problems, of which this junkie is one.
No matter how badly I think about the social services office (and I do find their actions here appalling)- if this woman hadn’t got herself hooked on heroin she wouldn’t be in this fix in the first place.
I hate junkies. When you see the way they act and the problems they cause in the city it’s difficult to think of them as human.
Having said that. I can tell by looking at the photo that she is indeed recovering from her addiction. Regardless of which woman it is in the photo, she’s got too much meat on her bones to be an active addict.
Leaving the gay couple out of it for the moment- I don’t see how the social services people can justify taking the children away from the grandparents. They’re blood kin. They’re always going to have a more active interest in the welfare of the children than a random couple.
How old was Letterman when he had a kid? Larry King? Tony Randall? Octomom? Annie Leibovitz?
The present day United Kingdom never ceases to disgust me.

The only thing the socialists care about is state control. They don’t give a flying **** about children and families. Have you figured that out yet?
At a future date, we may read of such a forced adoption ending badly. VERY badly, as in assault or murder. Not condoning it, just seeing where it will all end in tears.
