From the description:
The NCNA will bring together citizens from across the country to begin a dialogue with the American people through a series of forums, town halls, and an online effort that will engage people in a discussion to meet our common challenges and build a stronger country through common-sense ideas. The NCNA will be a dynamic, forward-looking organization that will amplify the common-sense and wisdom of our fellow citizens through a grassroots dialogue with Republican leaders.
But if you follow the link, it takes you to:
The list of participants is longer than first announced:
Panel of Experts:
David Drier (sic)
Kay Bailey Hutchinson
Cathy McMorris Rodgers
These morons are just trying to take advantage of the tea party movement. They are well aware that for every patriotic American who civilly protested on April fifteenth, there are many times that number who were in complete agreement with them that for various reasons couldn’t attend a rally. In my humble opinion, it is because we have jobs and other resposibilities. They are now trying to co-opt this new born revolution. Like all new borns, it will grow and thrive if provided enough nourishment.

I DO NOT want a CHANGED America
I DO NOT want a NEW America.
I WANT America. I want theCountry that ourfounder fought and died for.The Country my great grandfather, my grandfather, my father and I fought for. I want the America our CONSTITUION written by of founders set -up, NOT the America that5 power hungery politicians and feelgood judges have made it out to be.
Obama and his ilk just do not want to get it.
The current Republicans and their ilk just seem to be to cowardly to get it.
Courtesy of the same clowns who brought us to this point...sorry to see Bobby jindal’s name with that crowd.
Someone need to email them the YouTube clip of Congressman Barrett’s boo out at the Greenville SC Tea Party. Make sure to let the RINO list know that there’s a message on the video for them.
And now (after destroying the party) they expect you to believe they want to listen?
McCain? Dreier? McCarthy? pffft!
I’m always leery of “common-sense ideas”.
BIG Bump to that!
Regards . . . Penny
Cantor, Romney, and Jeb Bush had the first “town hall” in Arlington, officially launching the group.
CSPAN covered it yesterday.
I listened to the first few minutes - Ill have to listen to the whole hour later.
The first 17 minutes were Cantor, Bush, then Romney talking. Then they went to "questions" and each of them (C,B&R) are answering what they think should be done. Mitt was touting how he solved the healthcare problem. Jeb is big on education. All I hear them saying is how government is going to solve everyone's problems.
I'm now up to the 35 minute mark.
One somewhat amusing thing at the beginning -- Mitt made a comment about free pizza... and then said no, that it wasn't a democratic event. But all of their publicity is touting this thing as a bipartisan policy discussion. These guys have absolutely zero vision or consistency.
Time for Tea!!!!!
Only one problem...These fellas are no longer the leaders...The are the led...
I have no intention of following the losers any longer...
If McCain is in it... I’m aginn it!
We don't need polls.
We don't need town halls.
We don't need the Tower of Babble.
We need a strong leader with very strong convictions that we have a great country and a Constitution that must be followed.
When the right leader surfaces, we will support him.
Not one of the names on that list is a true leader of people.
Too little, too ineffectual, and all too late.
It is distressing to see the moderators paint this as rino or whatever, to see every title on this changed to include rino/liberal,barf whatever. Is this sanctioned by JimRob?
The blurb in parens is added by the poster, not the mods. It’s been a standard part of FR for years now.
The GOP insiders can start by dumping their 3.1 billion dollar budget plan over the side.
Their budget is Porkulus Lite.
Beyond that, at least we know who to watch out for and not vote for.
There is nothing wrong with being “The Party of NO” when the administration is hell bent on destroying America. It’s OK to say NO to treason.
Modified titles is one of the reasons many say they cannot find previous postings when doing a pre-post title search.
We already have a large, well funded group working hard to do away with the American Republic and the Constitution and bring us a “New America”; it’s the US Government led by Pelosi, Reid and Obama.
We don’t need a group of Republicans trying to outdo them.
That’s what made it possible for the socialists and America haters to gain power in the first place.
What we need is a for the Repuublican party to work hard to restore the Constitutional Republic and return the country to some semblance of sanity.
We don’t want your new America. We don’t want ever expanding government in our lives.
They obviously didn’t listen to the message of the tea parties.
I’d say it’s pretty obvious who not to vote for. The problem seems to be finding who we can support. As surprising as it may seem to some on the left, I think we realize that not all canditates can agree with us on all issues, just as we all don’t agree on all issues. That being said, IMHO, fiscal conservancy and national defense are two areas where we cannot bend.
Where's the Conservative? ...all is I see are three MeCain "Moderates" !
Sorry Jeb, I'm sick & tired of your family!
That is the trouble.
Here in Pennsylvania and around the country, RINO’s stop at nothing to maintain power in the primaries. They will run third candidates to split opposition votes when an outsider challenges an insider.
The parties are closed here with members only in primaries and indies can’t vote in primaries of either one.
Independent candidates have a higher threshhold of signatures to get on the ballot.
Arlen had no option but to go Democrat under that system.
Bla-bla-bla bab-bla-bla-bla bla-bla bab,bla
The best part of the Arlen thing is everybody knows it. Even the MSM can’t provide cover for that move.
These are Republican politicians, not-—as they say-—”Republican leaders.”
There is only one name I want to see and that’s Palin.
The RINO herd is bunching up.
It seems to me that the conservative wing of the GOP needs to focus on their message by abandoning the GOP which is attempting to find a larger “tent.”
The current circular firing squad is not very productive.
Not one ultra right-wing extremist nut-job in the bunch.
They are just trying to subvert the tea parties.
I am so sick and tired of them being the party of “we will spend your money slower than the dims” or “we will bring this nation to the isms slower than the dims”.
isms=(socialism communism liberalism progressivism)
Sorry to see some of those names on that list. ((((sigh)))) WASS.
Im always leery of common-sense ideas.
Perhaps you have noticed that left wing garbage is often trotted out with a “common sense” label as in “common sense” gun laws. I am all for actual common sense.
Common sense tells us that housing prices cannot rise faster than incomes for an indefinite period. Common sense tells us that those who want to take away your only means of self defense do not have your interests at heart. Common sense tells us that as Alan Keyes said recently, “A bankrupt government cannot bail out a bankrupt banking system.” Common sense tells us that Obama is a left wing puppet who is in office for one reason, to destroy what remains of this great country. Common sense makes a sensible person shudder with revulsion at the image of Rahmbo.
Perhaps you have noticed that left wing garbage is often trotted out with a common sense label as in common sense gun laws.
That's why I cringe when a politician uses the term.
Well said! In medical terms the political body of America has 100% malignant inoperable systemic cancer. Nothing short of aggressive doses of chemo specifically engineered for targeting the immediate removal of ALL cancerous cells will do.
I posted a negative response. It’s not there. I am guessing that the one thing they learned from Obama’s campaign is to ignore or stifle any dissent.
