Chemical Warning: Bodies In London Hotel Two people have been found dead in a hotel room after a chemical incident, emergency services said. Police and fire services were called to the Seven Sisters Road in Finsbury Park, north London just before midday. The hotel has been evacuated. A spokeswoman for London Fire Brigade said: "We are treating this as a confirmed chemical incident. The hotel has been evacuated and cordon implemented." She said the substance involved was not known at this stage. The bodies are still at the scene, police said. A Met police spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 11.53am today to Costello Palace Hotel, Seven Sisters Road, N4, after two people were found deceased. "The bodies remain at the scene. We await confirmation regarding their sexes and cause of death. "Police and London Fire Brigade are in attendance. The hotel has been evacuated as a precaution."

Finsbury Park is Londonistan, ie similar to Pakistan Swat Valley and fully controlled by Taleban (unofficial fragile peace agreement in place with UK government hiding in London HQ..few miles from Finsbury Park).

Does this mean that London and England in general are not safe to visit because of the Muslims’ takeover?

Hmm. “Chemical incident.” I’ve never heard that term before. Dead people in the immediate vicinity. What could it mean?

I don't know if it's safe or not to visit England these days. I do know that I won't be visiting there, though. I've been many times, and always loved our vacations there.

No more--it's the good ole USA only for me these nowadays.

A do-it-yourself meth lab maybe ... drugs are a scourage on humanity. Well, at least the lack of parenting that is at the heart of so little self restraint that drugs are such an easy trap the thuggery and terrorists of the world exploit.

Within 24 hours after the London terrorist bombings, the BBC stopped using the word "terrorists" and replaced it with "the bombers".

The BBC has devolved into the NYTimes et al.

"Chemical incident" - sufficiently opaque as to include "excess inhalation of H2O". But I guess we can rule out death by neutron bombardment.

Almost next door to the London Central Mosque and the notorious Finsbury Park Mosque, and within a mile or two of seven other London mosques.

From your link: A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "Two woman believed to have committed suicide by taking a noxious substance".

If indeed that area is "Londonastan," noxious substance might be something designed to be released in subway system by the two suicide ladies who mishandled it. Or, since women are not considered human by islamists, their husbands might have just poisoned them for overcooking the falafel, or whatever terrorists eat.

Where is Miss Marple when you need her?

I have never heard of a meth lab incident described as anything but that. The cops walk in and see the equipment and dead bodies and say “meth lab.”

If the hotel is on skid row or rents by the hour, it'a probably a meth lab. Higher end hotel, I would be suspicious that it is something else. The smells of a meth lab would definitely disturb other guests.

drugs are a scourage on humanity.

Is that the opposite of discourage? I looked up scourage in my online dictionary, and it brought me to "dishwashing." Not sure why, unless it considers "scour" to be the root word. Honestly, I thought the dictionary would suggest the proper spelling of scourge, which I confess, I know you meant. But it didn't. And I couldn't resist a little ribbing, as this was one of the more fun typos I've seen lately.

I worked at a hotel and it wasn’t uncommon to have suicides. Chemical incident could mean they used KCN or NaCN.

Or it could have been an accident...cleaning staff mixing bleach and ammonia, perhaps.

That terminology covers a lot of ground that might be nothing too far out of the ordinary.
