Al-Sadr resurfaces in Turkey, meets with Turkish President and Prime Minister

Why is this jihadist meeting with the "moderate" and "pro-American" leaders of Turkey? They're talking about the "security of Iraq." Since all parties involved are proponents of Sharia rule, likely that is what will be advanced as a result of this meeting.

"Radical anti-US cleric Sadr resurfaces in Turkey," from AFP, May 2 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Iraq's Shiite radical leader Moqtada al-Sadr – not seen in public for nearly two years – held face-to-face talks with Turkey's top two leaders Friday, the Anatolia news agency reported. The anti-US cleric met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan first for talks on "security in Iraq and the promotion of links between the parties," according to a Turkish diplomatic source. He was then entertained by President Abdullah Gul at the president's residence, the agency added, with the Turkish foreign ministry's special Iraq envoy, Murat Ozcelik, also in attendance, but no statements were made....

Because Al-Sadr and the Turkish president know Hussein is an absolute joke or sympathetic to anything Islam.

The umma continues to fraternize, and the press criticizes Europe for not wanting to grant Turkey entrance into the EU. Europe’s memory is bad about a lot of things but it remembers the several Turkish invasions throughout history. If it walks like a duck...

Mookie’s back!!! Funny how he waited until Bush left office to show his face. I am sure Barry will have him over to the White Houese for a sit down soon.

He’s upset he was defeated in the free Iraqi elections. Maybe he’s looking to relocate to someplace he can have a political career.

If he’ll just become a community organizer for a couple of years, it’ll lay the groundwork for a comeback!

That explains an earlier article I read today about how Bambi loves Turkey and is looking to it for “leadership.” In other words, how Islamic dictators insert themselves into the political process and take over.

Sooner or later that fat little phuck is going to have to be dealt with - with "extreme prejudice," as the expression goes.

And the sooner the better.

The leading party in Turkey is a fundamentalist political party and a direct production of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Apparently, the sadistic influences of the Iranians have not helped Al-Sadr win friends and influence people in Iraq, so he’s looking for the Turkish fundamentalists to help him put a smiley face on his political game plan.

More of the hand of the Saudis at work here, trying to lure a Shia into THEIR fundamentalist orbit, as Iran did with the Sunnis of Hamas.

This is part of the internal Islamic conflict between the Iranian Mullahs on one side and the Muslim Brotherhood and the Wahabi on the other.

The west does not have a dog in that race. At the end of the day, there is no difference, in western terms, between either of the two groups.

Time for us to leave, altogether.

This

Al-Sadr, opposed to the proposals favoring a confederation for the country, supports the idea of a strong central government for Iraq. He stands with Turkey's discourse over Kirkuk and does not want it to be left under Kurdish control.
