In my opinion it should be obvious that someone that has devoted their life to creating by far the best conservative news forum on the Internet would have a pretty good grasp of what Conservative is, and means.

Romney isn't even close, and never was.

Really? So essentially we wait to see who JimRob decrees sufficiently conservative, and then all get in line?

Let us suppose JimRob had decreed Romney conservative (as had, for example, National Review), would you similarly defer to JimRob's authority and praise Romney?

What about other candidates as we move forward, whose conservative bona fides are in doubt--- Cantor, Pence, Jindal, Sanford? Who decides whether these be true conservatives? Do we individually make our own assessment, or do we suspend judgment until our leader promulgates another decree?
