Napolitano Must Resign Or Be Removed! Since Napolitano has refused to retract the report or even provide evidence to back up the claims made by the report, Grassfire.org is calling for the immediate resignation or removal of Napolitano from office. Your petition will be sent to key members of Congress demanding action on this outrage.
Napolitano continues to defend the unfounded report. Please join with other citizens in saying that such anti-conservative profiling is unacceptable.
The Petition States: In light of the unfounded “threat assessment” on “Rightwing Extremism” issued by DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, I am calling for Napolitano’s immediate removal from office.
While admitting to having no evidence linking “rightwing” citizens to actual terror threats, the report nonetheless profiles several conservative groups, including members of the military, pro-life citizens and those who oppose illegal immigration, as terror threats. The report also lists racism and economic hardship as prime causes of “rightwing” extremism.
Unfortunately, Napolitano and the Obama Administration continue to stand behind this flawed report. That is why Napolitano must go and the Obama administration must apologize to millions of patriotic Americans who have been wrongly profiled by this report.
