Any policy with care in it’s name you know is a very bad idea.
I may have missed it, but when did Sarah say she was interested in running for the presidency? And what has she done that shows that she may be interested? She has accepted very few requests to speak. What were the topics of those speeches? Do those indicate any interest in international issues?
Lets hope so, and the NYT alaong with it.
My understanding is that Romneycare is a bloody disaster for the state. Is this the future of the GOP?
OOh, yeah, we should pick Mitt, because he’s interested in the position. REALLY interested.
Give me a break. Pimp your liberal elsewhere.
Well, he can forget that. He couldn't even win in the primary. How can he even think he can beat Obama? Excuse me. I meant to say "How could he even think he could beat ACORN and AMNESTY?"
Sarah Palin is who we need as President. I just hope that McCain didn't screw her up too bad. He never should have allowed her to do the interview with that skank over at CBS.
What conservative could possibly reconcile the thought, "Hey, he got elected governor of Massachusetts, he must be a conservative!"
Is the second one "off"?
Mitt’s ado about nothing.
Right now the way it looks, If Palin gets in, I’m going to sink or swim with her.
If we can’t win with a true blue conservative like her, we can at least make our last stand with her.
Romney should should make a note, HEALTH is something a person keeps themselves, or not, but non the less, it is not governments job to insure it. Medical care, which is what these people are actually talking about, is never denied someone who needs it, regardless of their ability to pay. Insuring it is up to insurance companies, NOT GOVERNMENT! If govt gets into it, private insurance will go out of business.
“a vision and a plan for America that makes our lives and the lives of our kids better”
Oh, it’s for the children? I was opposed to this gun owner and lifelong hunter, but if it’s for the children...
If I was in charge government would not be in housing, health or education.
I admit I liked Romney in the primaries, hell even Rudy or Ron Paul I liked better than John McCain.
BUT after the reaction of the elites to Sarah Palin (she went to a “state” college gasp!) and seeing all these Harvard Business School grads screw up Wall Street I can’t support someone who went to an “elite” school.
Romney went to Harvard Business School, no way in hell I want him running the country.
......What conservative could possibly reconcile the thought, “Hey, he got elected governor of Massachusetts, he must be a conservative!”......
Well how about if he was raised in Michigan, DEEtroit even? would that help?
I take your “no response” and “change the subject” as an indication Sarah hasn’t expressed an interest yet.
But that doesn’t mean she won’t. She may be concentrating on doing a good job and going for reelection. But maybe we can put off the destroying of competition until we see if she wants to run.
Don’t be sure I want Romney elected president. I just want a rational discussion instead of all the emotional slurring going on.
I trust Sarah on energy and with social issues and government frugality. I would trust Romney to get the economy going. I would trust someone like Petraeus on national security, and I hope he is a Republican. But my bet is that the next Republican nominee will be Haley Barbour. But I would like to know what if any undesirable baggage he has.
I don’t recall mentioning Sarah Palin. You are the one that is fixated on her. That’s not surprising, since you usually fixate on anyone that you see as a threat to Slick Willard.
