I can assure you they were quite inappropriate, and certainly not photos befitting a beauty queen, Jacobs, a reporter for NBCs Las Vegas affiliate, told NBC News.
I see. So no top models ever advertise underwear.
Victoria’s Secret is going to lose their talent pool.

So the picture of her in pink undies is bad but a picture of Perez Hilton s**king a d**k would be OK?

Attention Gaystapo on the Left. We are all sinners. All of us. The rest of humanity does not tend to celebrate their sins, unlike sodomites.

They're applying Alinsky's rules for radicals #4:
Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.

You must not read the newspaper because obviously you’ve never seen an underwear ad in your life.

Not too long ago, pics like this wouldve caused an outrage, not just in the christian community, but in all america. People wouldve been damning her to hell. Playboy playmates did this kind of thing, not Miss Californias. What has changed? And why, in your opinion, is that change a good thing? Who was Marilyn Monroe? She could've been someone if she hadn't posed naked full naked for that calendar which got reprinted in the first Playboy.
She was relegated to be a bit player but she could have been someone if only people had been more tolerant...

I do have to question your premise. Modeling for VC is not a sin, per se.
Modesty being largely in the eye of the beholder, to make a theological argument about such a photo must ride on the assumption that you know what Jesus would have wanted Prejean to do.
Barring a walking on water demonstration, respectfully, I must differ.
Christian is as Christian does. Prejean has done more for raising Christian values awareness with one question than many theologian have done in a full career.
Was it not said that G*d works in wonderous way, . . .”
May I suggest the possibility that Prejean used the moment to which her beliefs and beauty led her to make the best possible use of that moment to further her beliefs, and - in a truly Christian way, to rebuke sin.

“The reports are that this is the first photo to be released. The other photos are full frontal topless.”
probably lies. by the time anyone finds out it was a lie, the story will be over, & people will have made their judgements about it

The homosexual activists (including ‘Perez Hilton’) called her a c**t. Just as Gov. Palin had been called a c**t by the intolerant but politically correct Left.
They are sexist. They are bigots. They are hate filled. They are deceivers.
There can be no debate until they come clean on the issues and defend their own words.

Of course I have, but let’s not act like those ads are just art. Wouldn’t you agree that they’re using sex and lust to sell?

Such ads are targeted at women. You ever see a man select sexy underwear for a woman? Smart ones give them a gift certificate.

Thats what happens when you lie in a tanning bed.
Uhhh - happens to the tourists in Florida all the time.
However, for a real burn, try the high altitude sun in the West, aided by low humidity, no less.

The pic is no different from, and no racier than, the standard underwear ads I see in catalogs.

Um, where did I say that she couldn’t be somebody? But America has traditionally held the pageant contestants to a higher moral standard and there’s always been a huge scandal when one did something risque. I guess values have just changed that much.

I dont care what she did in the past, I dont care that she didnt really want to answer that question for fear of losing the competition and having her name dragged through the mud. I care that, when the moment came, after a moments hesitation, she answered it and faced up to what was coming. Now that shes done it, Im not going to leave her hanging out there alone. She is one of ours, mistakes, defects and all, and Im proud of her, mistakes and all. I'm with you on that.

Are your referring to the lesbian photo session of a nude Vanessa Williams that ran in Penthouse or Hustler after the crowning?
No magazine would boost circulation figures running this photo.
