Wisdom teeth...no longer needed and I’d check with some of them indigenous Mexicans and see how they lucked out in not having them.....used to need ‘em , of course....but no longer.
You argument about the appendix is weak. Just because there’s a limited function today doesn’t mean it’s not changed from what it used to be......a place for cellulose tissue to hange out to be digested. Takes a long time to digest cellulose, ya know...much longer than our current a-canal allows...just ask a cow why they have multiple stomach chanbers. And all them people that have it removed are doing just fine “immunally”....”important” indeed. Now, the spleen....THAT’s immunally important.
