So let me get this straight. Powell praises McCain, yet he endorsed Obama.

no no no — you don’t understand. We need to go even more into that approach according to folks like Powell! In fact, start reading up on the Communist Manifesto now...
To: rabscuttle385
Powell is saying that people want to be slaves as long as their master gives them housing, food, and health care.
To: rabscuttle385
CP is a leftist who accused McCain of running an anti Moslem campaign.
Meanwhile the dems are gone far left. Wake up GOP!

Didn't Powell endorse Obama?
Whatever Powell is for, you would be wise to vote for the opposite.

I suppose the GOP is shrinking, because all the conservatives are leaving in droves. If the GOP goes anymore left, it might as well just merge with the socialist, fascists.

Never take political advice from some @sshole who endorsed a candidate from the opposing party in the last presidential election.
The irony is that people like Bowell and Sphincter are calling on the GOP to adopt a more liberal platform even as the Democrats have been winning Congressional elections by pretending they're actually CONSERVATIVE.
If Colon Bowell were a middle-aged white guy he would have been a career bureaucrat in Washington who nobody ever heard of.

The GOP should remain conservative. But, that really isn't the point. The GOP should be responsive to the people including moderates and especially their conservative wing. The fact is that Republicans can't win and conservatives can't govern with out the help of centrists. If the party had been responsive to conservatives then they wouldn't be trying to throw the moderates out in a very misguided way. and if the party had been responsive to moderates they wouldn't be leaving to join the Dem’s. When neither get anything they want then they start to blame each other and we start fighting each other instead of the Dem's. We are all in this boat together. Conservatives have a need for some kind of health care reform that is not socialized medicine (insurance buyers coop) and moderates do not want to give amnesty to illegals either. The Bushies just can't respond to anyone.

Powell Says Shrinking GOP Should Return To The Center [praises McCain, attacks Palin, Rush, Coulter] Powell likes McCain and thinks the Republicans should strive to be like McCain... but Powell endorsed and voted for the Obama!
Powell, go away, your help we don't need.

Anyone who says the Republican party has moved to the right is either lying or so stupid they don’t even have walking around sense.

Colon Powell should take a laxative and clear his brains out.
Powell is no more a Republican than John McCain or Arlen Spector. As a matter of fact, Powell makes McCain look conservative.

yet again another RINO or liberal thinks that our party should become like the Dem party
well shep smith just announced that the GOP should stop mentioning homo marriage and abortion as people do not care
er actually smith you nancy boy the people do and the majority do not want homo marriage and you are afraid that if the GOP starts to mention it then it would win us seats and stop you and your homo from being together
here’s a thought, all those on the left shut the f up, we want our party to be like it was not like a left wing party.
course the left is doing this by using the divide and conquer and RINO’s like McCain need to get out and move over.
going left lost us two elections, it does not work and the majority agree with our social platform as well as political platform it is just that we do not have someone who can get the message out good enough .
the left is scared that if we get sarah to sell our platform we will win big so they attack her and then use this tactic

The Republican Party is in big trouble and needs to find a way to move back to the middle of the country He's correct in a way.
They need to move back towards the middle, then continue moving right until they approach conservatism again.
