You should see the look I get when I tell Dems I voted for an African-American for President.
Alan Keys is a really good guy and a real conservative.
Alan is a conservative Catholic too.
Perhaps Notre Dame will have to give up their name and change it to Notre Bama U if they continue to go astray of their Catholic roots.
Good for him! If I lived closer to Indiana I’d join him. ‘Bout time some of those crazy priests got some of what they give back! Get really tired of seeing those loonies handcuffing themselves to or blocking the gate at Ft. Benning!!
Would love to see Notre Dame’s Bishop join him. Let’s see if they would arrest their own Bishop.

Really? To me he's always just been a publicity hound. What does the guy actually do for a living, when he's not running for President I mean?
A publicity hound or average Joe, both are appreciated when pointing out that our nation’s fly is unzipped!
Even Christ forbad his disciples to silence another not of their band who was preaching the gospel of Christ! If Alan is a publicity hound, so be it! He is certainly more capable than you or I to articulate conservative core values, though he is probably better as a “RAH RAH!” person as opposed to being a serious political candidate!
I do think he missed his calling; he would have been a much better minister calling folks to Christ...he might have had wider impact than he could have ever known had he been a preacher!
I like Alan Keyes because of what he truly believes in. Basically the same reason of respect a black man like Bill Cosby too. They both have it (the conservative philosophy) exactly right.
I have always loved Alan Keyes. He stands up for what he believes. As to being a ‘publicity hound’, I think he serves to bring attention to modern day moral relativity. If only we had more like him who stand up for what they believe. He is truly brilliant...not like the emotionally whacked out progressive liberals who are willing to push us into Gommorah.
Good question, but expect his #1 flack on this site to come along shortly and haughtily attack you for asking it.
This is a futile mission, of course. As everybody who remembers the Illinois Senate campaign in ‘04 knows, Alan Keyes can’t even get arrested in that part of the country.
I suppose everyone going there is a “publicity hound”, no?
Alan Keys is an exceptional individual. A great statesman that loves America and has shown it all his life. I respect him unconditionally!
Dr. Keyes is a stand-up guy adn he shows it yet again.
The same thing as Thomas Paine did.
