Obama's budget proposal cuts border fence funds

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's budget blueprint Thursday canceled plans to extend the border fence along the U.S.-Mexico border beyond the 670 miles already completed or planned, symbolically breaking with a much-heralded approach to border security advocated by President George W. Bush.

The Obama administration's turnabout left limited funds for roads, lights and so-called tactical infrastructure – but not a dime to extend the pedestrian fencing and vehicle barriers erected along roughly one-third of the nation's 1,947 mile border with Mexico.

As a Democratic senator representing Illinois, Obama joined 79 other senators in 2006 to support construction of the barrier system.

The top financial officer at the Department of Homeland Security, Peggy Sherry, and her team told reporters in a telephone conference call that the Obama administration would not extend the barrier network that has irked Mexico and stirred concerns among immigrant-advocate organizations.

Trillions of dollars to communize the United States but hey, no way the Kenyan is going to stop one sorry criminal illegal alien border violator from just strolling into the U.S. on a whim. But terrorist would NEVER come into the country from mexico, right? Yea, no need to spend a little of the Three TRILLION dollar budget to control a 2,000 mile border with a country that is going under to the international drug gangs, RIGHT?

Little Øero bammy, the greatest cult leader ever, has one more charge against him in the court of real American Citizens.

It will take someone sneaking a nuclear, radiological, biological or major chemical weapon over the border before anyone gets serious about it again. Thousands of Americans will have to die at one time (as opposed to one or two at a time a thousand times over from crime and drunk driving) to get the border fence built.

Everything I needed to know about the effects of unrestricted immigration I learned from the American Indians.

That's telling. No funds for the actual fence, but funds remain for facilitating crossing via foot and car, at night.

Another great issue for the Republicans in 2010.

Hit Them Where It Hurts The Democrats like to present themselves as the guardians of justice and the champions of fairness.

Never mind the fact that the nation is being fundamentally altered by uncontrolled illegal immigration. Most voters already sense that, but are held back by feelings that secure borders somehow wouldn't "be fair." This is the root that must be attacked. It is tactically better to hit the Democrats where it hurts. Call them out as enemies of justice and destroyers of fairness.

There is a legal process for immigration into the US. Those that play by the rules, and go through the process are supplanted by the line-jumping cheaters. It is Obama and the Democrats who are aiding and abetting the injustice of relegating the legal, honest petitioners for immigration to the back of the line.

Yea, mustn't risk have the criminal illegal alien border and immigration law violators stumbling across the border, they must march across boldly and with confidence. To suffer the indignity of climbing a fence or fording a small stream might endanger their self-esteem.

What a shock. The communist traitor mole doesn’t want to defend our border from invasion.

You would think the President of the united States would be tasked to do that very thing in the Constitution or something wouldn't you?

Dang sure is with this one... Sonia Sotomayer.

Obama's likely Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayer on tape saying that the "court of appeals is where policy is made".

Interesting how she believes The united States is no longer a nation with a government based on Law. Now we are a "nation of policy?"

If they truly believe that, then rule 308 is probably unknown to them.
