What was Wanda Sykes thinking? Perhaps more to the point, what was President Barack Obama thinking when he laughed and smiled as the comedienne wished Rush Limbaugh dead?
Although the Left is reporting her White House Correspondents' Dinner speech as "taking shots" at Limbaugh and mocking everyone, that's a gross misrepresentation of what turned into a hateful and disgusting diatribe.
She then concluded: "Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that? He needs a good waterboarding, that's what he needs." Obama seemed to think this bit was pretty hilarious, grinning and chuckling and turning to share the "joke" with the person sitting on his right.
There's not much room for differing interpretations of what Sykes said. She called Limbaugh a terrorist and a traitor, suggested that he be tortured and wished him dead.
What was his crime? Hoping that Obama's policies - which he views as socialist - will fail.
That's way, way beyond reasoned debate or comedy and Obama's reaction to it was astonishing.
Hard to take from the man who promised a new era of civility and elevated debate in Washington.

Obama insists he's a Christian, that's all that matters. His support of abortion at any time for any reason, the pittance he and his wife gave to help "The least of these" in charity contributions, his belief that people in his income bracket were undertaxed while failing to voluntarily pay more... none of this matters.
Anyone who would compare President Obama's works to his words is obviously a bigot, a racist and a hater.
Any Democrat will tell you that Christians need to separate their morals, values and principles from their day to day behavior. Just as Satan would have us do.

There is NO biblical justification for liberalism.
“Liberal Christian” is an oxymoron. And I’d challenge any “liberal” theologian to give me scripture that justifies their positions on the issues,
especially the nature of man. (Liberalism is a extension of the belief that man is basically good instead of basically wicked and sinful.)

When Obama insulted the Prime Minister of the UK and couldn’t even be bothered to have dinner with him, he really made a serious mistake. Ditto when he insulted Sarkozy. By there very nature they have no respect for scripture. So, they would never use scripture to justify their positions unless it was a horrible misuse of scripture.

I seriously begin to wonder when Limbaugh will have had “enough” and pull out the nuclear option...that is, begin asking, on air, about the birth certificate, the college records, the ‘cauterized’ passport. Create a buzz that cannot be ignored.
Start the dialogue out front and relentlessly.
Holding their powder, for whatever mysterious reason ( perhaps sponsors would pull out, microphones would go quiet?) has not served conservative radio at all—Obama is more emboldened than ever.
