I was watching Sunday ABC News and the Salvation Army was the big sponsor for the newscast. They showed a commercial that was very touching.
The Salvation Army is the greatest organization ever created! It is truly doing God's work.

While I disagree with some of their theology, they do perform beneficial work, and seem to be good stewards of the money entrusted to them.

largest Aids Hospice..
largest entity of hospital beds in the Usa 19% of capacity.
Hospital Charity cases are the Highest of any entity..
Charity it is Number one it has operations in almost the entire Planet... they are used in disaster 3rd world countries where governments can’t function..
Salvation Army is good but the catholic Church has foodbanks in Most Parishes..or we don’t count?/

If you haven’t already done so, you should read the biography of William and Catherine Booth, the founders of the Salvation Army.
Its good to live in Alaska. At our local Fred Myers store the Salvation Army always rings bells and sings carols in front entrance at Christmas. So far no aclu or mooslims have stopped them. The bell ringer is probably packing. I give generously and gladly because these folks are the real deal. I don’t contribute much to any group other than my church and a few trusted individuals and organizations. I especially don’t give any money to organizations promoted by the federal gov (United way etc.)
The Catholic Church has a hugh history. Much good, some bad.
The Salvation Army has a much purer history.
Money goes in, good deeds go out. Very little money to overhead.
The Catholic Church has lots of money coming in, money going to good causes, pedophile priests protected by the church. Get real buddy. You try to state that the Catholic Church is better than the Salvation Army and your reasoning is that the Catholic Church is bigger thus it does more good.

Please the catholic Church in all the USA is the Only institution that has a program with FBI background checks and a Training Progam with certification to be able to work with Kids! Teaching coaching etc..

Just for the record.... we are speaking about 4000 priest over 60 years. There are more than 2000 Protestant Pastors every year expelled for dillydallying with there Congregration per pastor news. The Insurance Institute claims are even higher! Thanks and we don’t condone what the priest did! but we instituted a Program any body else do it? Public Schools?? Private schools non Catholic?? Youth organization??
