It began with media reports that National Security Adviser James Jones told a European foreign minister that the US is planning to build an anti-Israel coalition with the Arabs and Europe to compel Israel to surrender Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem to the Palestinians.

If true, why doesn't the Administration just tell the Israelis to just decamp period, and be done with it, because giving up Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem will effectively destroy the state of Israel.

And let's not forget we also PAID for it with the Gadsden Purchase. Just like we paid for the Louisiana Purchase and the purchase of Alaska. I don't see us getting ready to give that land back. I'm thinkin there would be more than tea parties if they tried that.

As far as Jones is concerned, Israel should be left out of those discussions and simply presented with a fait accompli that it will be compelled to accept.

This looks like the policy change that Obama was cooking up during the campaign, when Biden started spilling the beans. “At first, it’s not going to look like he’s doing the right thing, and we’re going to need your support. This fella’s got steel in his spine.”Blah, blah, blah.... The writer is smart, making sure that she uses “Judea and Samaria,” because in human terms, the one thing that may stand between Israel and this betrayal is the mystic chords of memory that hopefully most of the American people still have to the Bible stories of their youth, especially, David and Goliath.
