Would the war eventually have been won without the Soviets?
Yes.
No, I agree with your first point, the second isn't correct. The Germans spent most of their efforts on the Eastern Front, while the Japanese were always a bit worried that Russia would open another front?
The Germans did bleed in the East and this was what helped end the war

I think the second point is equally as valid. Of course, we would have developed nuclear weapons WITHOUT the Soviets being involved, and that would have ended the war anyway.
