Monday May 11,2009

Posted on 05/11/2009 9:36:14 AM PDT by trooprally

Late notice but I’m only now getting some of the details.

Bill Ayers will be speaking at the Enoch Pratt Public Library in Baltimore on May 13 at 6:30 pm. in the Wheeler Auditorium. The library is located at 400 Cathedral Street, Baltimore.

We’ll meet at the main entrance at 5:30PM

Calls to the library expressing your objections to using of public funds and space as a platform for a known domestic terrorist, call the library at 410-396-5430 or the public affairs office at 410-396-5283. Please consider attending and asking Mr. Ayers to answer for his past actions.

Several Baltimore residents will be going inside and also are trying to get some media to cover our protest.

One older lady that will be there knows of FR and was at the original Clinton White House FReeps.

There is a parking garage on W Mulberry (Rte 40) between Cathedral Street and N Charles Street.

Google Map

If you are planning to attend please contact me so that if plans change you can be notified.

Also, if you need a poster please let me know. I can make a limited number.

Gotta a question: How can Ayers be a professor of law, and not be a lawyer...he has a criminal record, thought the bar does not permit that...

He’s not a professor of law, but his wife might be in that faculty. He teaches teachers how to be indoctrinators of student teachers.

You need to check your prescription:

Bernardine Dohrn is the director of the Children and Family Law Justice Center and a clinical associate professor of law at Northwestern University School of Law.

Ayers is currently a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Education. His interests include teaching for social justice, urban educational reform, narrative and interpretive research, children in trouble with the law, and related issues.[2] He began his career in primary education while an undergraduate, teaching at the Children’s Community School (CCS), a project founded by a group of students and based on the Summerhill method of education. After leaving the underground, he earned an M.Ed from Bank Street College in Early Childhood Education (1984), an M.Ed from Teachers College, Columbia University in Early Childhood Education (1987) and an Ed.D from Teachers College, Columbia University in Curriculum and Instruction (1987). He has edited and written many books and articles on education theory, policy and practice, and has appeared on many panels and symposia.

I stand to be corrected, but it's still sick..

As far as I know it is the San Francisco police, not the FBI, that is doing the investigation. Hopefully they can come up with something to put him away for a little while.

“white supremacy and its troubling endurance in American life.”

Oh what bull$hit. Get over it. It’s done. The main “supremacy” we have to worry about ain’t white.
