Tabloid cinema sinks to a new low, with Kirby Dick's gay bashing documentary, Outrage. This gossip mongering doc, bolstered by that 'unidentified sources' school of sensationalistic journalism, salivates on screen in a crusade mounted to drag out of the closet suspect gay politicans, and ruin their lives and careers via multiplexes everywhere.
Is the homophobic mass media the culprit here? Hardly. It's the self-righteous extremist elements of the gay community, in a rabid and tasteless, if you can't join them, beat them sexual orientation witch hunt.
Fueled by a kind of catch more slandered self-hating gays with vinegar than honey mentality, Dick comes under suspicion here himself, for launching attacks against mostly Republican politicans like Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Idaho's Larry Craig (while defaming conservative Fox News anchor Shepard Smith but sparing CNN's liberal Anderson Cooper). And in the process ridiculing the wives caught up in these at times manufactured scandals on screen, as gullible buffoons.
While making questionable claims that closeted gay politicians must be sacrificed to better promote pro-gay voting agendas, the film at the same time accuses the commercial media of engaging in a vast conspiracy to keep these same men closeted, and without a shred of presented evidence. Apparently the drive to name names stops here.
Outrage is as corrupt in conception as last year's Roman Polanki: Wanted And Desired, propaganda cloaked as a documentary in a bid that thankfully failed, to comfortably exonerate long distance the fugitive from a child drug rape conviction, based on some sort of genius defense. Perhaps it's time to turn the camera back on these sexual orientation think police, with their already established record of loathing, bisexuals as traitors to the gay community, destroying the right to privacy, and drive-bys on Miss America contestants who unlike these sordid operatives, respect the right to dissenting opinions all around.

I just watched the documentary on that sawed off pedophile Polanski. He should have been locked up for no less then 10 years for raping, drugging and sodomizing that 13 year old girl. The government should cease all his assets and give a large portion to his victim.

Even quoting factual statistics about the connection between homosexuality and AIDS is allegedly homophobic.” In addition, according to pro homosexual author Vernon A Wall, “even acceptance of homosexuality can be seen as a form of homophobia, because to talk about the acceptance of homosexuality is to imply that there is something about homosexuality that needs acceptance.”
