I have a good idea what would have happened if a person had used the Confederation’s money in such a foolish manner...you’d have gone out of town on a rail, if you were lucky. If the act was egregious enough an entire town would have watched the thief learn a new jig at the end of a rope.

Now, we just hemorrhage money. I’m with the poster who said “Give it to Veterans.” The fact that our VA hospitals are in a lot of cases underfunded/understaffed makes this act, in my mind, rise to the level of treason.

Our cigarette-puffing, narcissistic ruler no doubt thinks this is just another drop in the bucket!
