I have wondered for a couple years why the White House had not let Cheney out to defend the administration. It is obvious now that Bush would not let him. What a shame. I have pretty much supported Bush through thick and thin, but their silence letting the media, Hollywood and Dems shape American public opinion sickens me.

Cheney would have been such a powerful and disciplined spokesperson from 2005-2008. I love his motivation to get out now and lay down a coherent defense.

It's not just Bush thought it's the same MO the world over regarding the bullying we let the left get away with.

I'm not going to disagree with you, but I have a different perspective.

Why weren't Cheney and other conservatives on the offensive against the left for years? This is something we need our political leaders to get better at...changing the dynamic of the discussion from defending our beliefs to questioning their lack of "everything".
