I haven't watched the stale, sagging FOX show, "24," in ages. It gets tiresome to watch so many Muslims as either terrorists who are ultimately puppets for the evil White man or completely innocent and framed...
But, last night, as serendipity would have it, I accidentally landed on FOX. And guess what? More of the same...

She doesn’t know what she is talking about.
ping
She’s dead on. Muslims are being framed as terrorists to serve the purposes of a hawkish Blackwater-type organization run by paranoid white guys.
Surprising since Debbie is usually a model of cool, logical analysis. /s
I had to ask. Debbie frequently goes overboard.
LOL. Tell me about it. :)
Anyone who hasn’t already, check out “The Unit” on Sundays. It’s pretty good, and pretty conservative.
Yeah, a couple of innocent peace loving Muslim brothers were framed by some evil white guys. Some sort of white, male dominated all powerful sydicate that controlled among other things a private security force known as Starkwood.
Jon Voight played Jonas Hodges who as part of the syndicate ran Starkwood. Once it became apparent he was a liability the other evil white guys offed him and worked to frame the peace loving Muslims for a biological attack.
Basically it portrays the ROP as being innocent peace lovers who are only violent because they’re being manipulated by evil white dudes.
She’s a moron ... don’t waste your time with her...magritte
Complete with Global Warming fear ads during the breaks.
Extremely disappointing.
Apart from the DU-style personal attacks from the more rabid 24 fans, what she describes is exactly what’s happening. Which is why they’re attacking her and not what she’s said.
To answer your question, no, she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. I quit reading her increasingly unhinged blog a couple of years ago. Though she is useful for making Michael Savage look rational.
Forgot to add. I’m now convinced Jon Voight and Starkwood were behind 911.
Major groups of bad guys per season of 24.
Season 1: Serbs (Personal)
Season 2: Muslims/International Oil
Season 3: Mercenary (Personal)
Season 4: Muslims
Season 5: Russians
Season 6: Muslims/Russians/Daddy
Season 7: African Strongman/Mercenary/?
Three of the seven seasons used Muslims as bad guys. I don’t think 24 is about making Muslims good guys.
She’s got a point, but personally I’m getting tired of the plot twists - the double-crosses are so common they’re becoming predictable.
Perhaps next season they’ll have a neo-Socialist presidency that is trying to frame conservative americans for extremist activities such as owning an assault rifle and having a Gadsden Flag bumper sticker...
Watched the first two seasons. Have no interest in it now.
They’ve had plenty of Muslim bad guys.
Having the same group cast as the villain in every episode would get tiresome.
Hell, why not use the same “Muslim” character in every show?
I like having John Voight as the bad guy.
The “Navy SEALs” from Africa, where they rape babies to “cure” AIDS, was the most ridiculous of all. With that bit, I started rooting for the bad guys.
Go Tony !!!
“Perhaps next season theyll have a neo-Socialist presidency that is trying to frame conservative americans for extremist activities such as owning an assault rifle and having a Gadsden Flag bumper sticker...”
That sounds like a rip off of something I’ve seen before...oh wait...
I haven’t watched the show through midway of the third season. I thought about getting back into it until I realized jeanine gayawfultroll was part of the cast.
...notice I didn’t say she was a star...
I tried to watch it once, but was bored to tears with the overly melodramatic, piss-poor acting.
I cannot get this show up in Canada. This whole type of usu age has long gone unnoticed by much of the general public. This medium has presented incredible opportunities for the underlying philosophies of the left. "One has to tell a lie to tell the truth".
I am amused at the show my liberal spouse follows. This is "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman". (Period shown 1880's or so) I was sickened by it and used GOOGLE for any rebuttal. Even a lefty admirer protested. All native Indians were wise, gentle, immersed in loving all things. The two Black families were cast in the same mold.
The flies in the ointment? A nasty white kid who bullied the little Black kid. The big nasty was a "Colonel Chivington". Old Chivington was the "kill 'em all" type. Ruthless American calvalry man.
People just do no SEE. They will not see the blatent brain washing right in front of them.
Thanks. When I said I hadn’t watched the show in years, I was understating it. I watched only the very first episode.
purposes
You’re right. The whole thing with just Tony Almeida got tiresome. I enjoy the show because it’s well done but it does get tiresome as they over-do the twists and turns. And Bauer has to be close to dead by now. I was thinking maybe they’re going to let him die to close out the season as he’s getting too expensive.
Political Correctness:
A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority,
and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible
to pick up a turd by the clean end.
(This is why I caution folks to NEVER shake hands with liberals: They spend their lives happily picking up turds and they never wash their hands.)
By spreading this definition around, perhaps we can employ one of the more effective methods of deflating and defeating the fools who practice and promote it: RIDICULE.
Unless stopped and soon PC will DESTROY Western Civilization — if it hasnt already.
PASS IT ON!!
(Credit hereby given to my late cousin Karl Benton Clark for either creating this definition or bringing it to my attention
Two or three seasons ago when I first started watching it regularly the CTU staff would regularly arrest and torture each other on a thin presumption of guilt, until the next episode where they would find out that, oh, the circumstances incorrectly pointed to you, and, by the way, could you just resume your duty station? I'd be kicking some serious @$$ on anyone who treated me that way.
Sounds like like ‘Little House on the Prarie’!
Not only will they not see it, but they will hate anyone who tries to call attention to it. People do love their entertainment... more than most things in their lives.
When I watch TV I do so using Hulu.com. The number of hardcore global warming propaganda messages are astounding.
Last night there was one for “ saving a mountain “ from a coal mining company with a message that wind power was our answer.
OMG - I’ve been watching this show for 7 years. Now that’s scary.
I think some people are taking this show way too seriously. Frogmen can’t really break into the White House. Military contractors don’t have their own missile sites. Get a grip.
I mostly watch to see the latest Chloe face, and because Agent Freckles is cute as a button.
Aw come on. Those Sengalese frogmen are known globally as top notch special forces.
I agree Chloe is a trip, but they seriously need to get rid of Garbarfalo.
I agree. I enjoy the show and have watched it from the beginning. It's entertainment.
And if they kill off Jack (as someone was pondering earlier), they kill the show, at least IMO. He's too important a character.
LOL! Yes. Although I did enjoy Chloe taking her down a notch on the computer skills on Monday. Though the JG character later bested her, which was irritating. :)
“Three of the seven seasons used Muslims as bad guys.”
IIRC, There has always be a White guy at the root of the problem and the muz were simply his useful idiots. Rogue government miitary dude, John Voight/Soros type, etc. This is exactly why I no longer watch it. That plus the insipid Jenean Garafaloe as well as the globull warming hoke.
One incident concerned a sign at a local store "No dogs or Indians allowed". Like a store keeper is going to turn down honest coin. Must be the first one. The long haired lover boy chops it down. The one incident of racial prejudice is noted. A bunch of new immigrants are cold shouldered by the good local populace. They are "dirty" and have shoddy habits. The new immigrants?
Blue eyed, fair haired Swedish people.
I wonder how many of the absolute cult like viewers, mostly white ever understand...... nah!
I think I detect the subtle hand of the Norwegian Terrorist Group (NATO Code name "Lutefisk") here. If I were you, I would check out all the Halloween costume shops in your area to see who has been renting Arab costumes, if it's big, fair-haired dudes with fishy breath .... bingo!
Have all local SWAT converge on St. Olaf's Church Hall ... and for God's sake ...be careful!
There are always background conspiracies which is part of the flow of this genre. The main “bad guys” are those who actually go out and kill innocents or attempt to.
In three of the seven seasons, groups of muslims have been the “bad guys”.
In three seasons, there have been “good muslims” caught up in the action. The first were the brothers who owned the shop and helped Jack in the shoot out, the second was Kal Penn’s character and the third are the brothers in this season.
What show, never heard of it?
Can’t be too good of a frameup if they are investigated and then cleared within “24” hours.
This is as old as the hills. Both Sherlock Holmes and James Bond, were killed off by their authors and improbably resurrected for more of the series, as the profit motive struck home.
As far as the twists & turns goes, it is characteristic of the genre.
Every show, must be exciting, must have a cliffhanger and must keep the plot going until the very last show.
Nothing inherently wrong with this, it is entertainment, not real life.
That's putting it mildly, brother.
Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.
Oh, dear...

The 24 hour time frame never seems to play out right. Response is never that quick. And nobody ever goes to the bathroom. No wonder Jack’s so “intense”.
I know. :)
No, it portrays two Muslim brothers living innocent peaceful lives intruded upon by some evil white men.
In which story was Bond killed?
