If somebody were deliberately trying to undermine the very fabric of these United States, he would first vow not just to change its policies but to completely "change America," and then would do just about everything Barack Obama already has begun to do as president.
To undermine this nation, he would attack the essential sanctity of contracts -- exactly as Obama has done. Never mind the "contracts" clause of the Constitution -- who needs to get hung up on the Constitution's actual language when "empathy" is more important?
For that matter, he would denigrate the whole notion of equal justice under the law by criticizing the whole notion of a judge as a neutral umpire. And he would employ, as a senator, outrageous and unprecedented means -- the filibusters of judicial nominees -- to block judges who don't agree with his own choices of who deserves more "justice" than whom.
To undermine this nation, he would selectively release only those portions of intelligence memos that make his nation look bad, but not those that provide context and reasonable motivations for the subject of the memos. And it would selectively edit memos from its own intelligence director to eliminate his statements in support of the effectiveness of the policies discussed in those other memos -- and his statements supporting the motives of those who adopted those policies in protection of their fellow citizens. And he would leave open the possibility of prosecuting earlier administration's lawyers merely for giving legal advice he disagrees with.

Moral standards exist for a reason. Sometimes standards change but they are they for the protection of a civilization. To today’s liberals, morality is relativistic or inconsequential.

Join up with Glenn Beck's 912Project - a latter-day network of the original Committees of Correspondence - to meet more like-minded folks. Connect with people in your own neighborhood to build your own 'Alarm and Muster' network.

I’m talking about the whole population. Even the poor just have to pick up their handout, do little for housing/food/water/heat/TV/etc., and worry relatively little about crime/invasion/etc. - of course half the country voted for someone who promised continued comfort, safety and luxury.

And I’ll tell you what excited the people I work with: The fact that Congress is considering giving subsidies to families who make up to $88K/year to help them pay for health care. I asked them to consider that if subsidies are required for incomes of up to $88,000/year perhaps this yearly premium was a bit too high. They thought I was nuts and only marveled at the fact that The One would think so highly of them as to help them pay for their health care.
Correction - should have been health insurance, not health care.
Elections have consequences . But we will never be able to pay for or repair all the damage that is being done to this once great Nation. The debt alone will be overwhelming. But the policies that are being put forth now are pure Anti-business and Anti-American. I’m afraid that the Cap & Trade and Health policies will do us all in .
I watched a special on how Germany became enamored with Hitler. The parallels to SOBBO were frightening.
