Oh, right. You're the one who would be feeling foolish if you had been a member of the Republican Senatorial Committee and had supported Specter. Of course, if you had been a member of that committee you'd know your committee always supports the incumbent.

Sorry for the mistake, doofus.

I’m just curious...why does everyone say that Crist is a RINO? I’m not saying he isn’t, but I’ve not seen any evidence to the contrary. Cato gave him an A on their fiscal policy report card...that sounds like a pretty solid conservative to me. What makes him a RINO?

Crist looks to make global warming a hot-button issue

I have already expressed my outrage to Senator Cornyn (Chairman of the RNSC) twice.

I did as well (and I'm from Texas).

For starters, (I know Charlie, personally) he has run this state into poverty.

This guy has nothing on Arnold.

The point is that they should NOT be supporting ANYONE a year away from a PRIMARY.

Things need to change.

DUH.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the very definition of insanity.

And insanity is exactly what it is when these idiots “endorse” a RINO in a PRIMARY a year away.

Sheesh.

Best way to do it is to get into your county party, network with other conservatives there, work your way into leadership, and network with similar leadership in other counties in your district, and in turn at your state. Band together at your state conventions to get conservative leadership at the state level.

but if you didn't know it you're really stupid.

In case you haven't noticed; "We are mad as He!!, and aren't going to take it anymore."

You actually redefine the word "Stupid"

There's no reason conservatives can't take over the GOP. The problem is most conservatives simply will not become politically active. I have been guilty of this to some degree in the past, too. Unfortunately, it took the crashing and burning of McCain and the election of Obama to get me fully involved. Now I practically live and breathe politics.

Too many conservatives simply sit on the sidelines and complain, waste their time and energy on alternative parties, or drop out of politics altogether. Neither of those courses of action (or inaction) are going to get us back into the leadership of the GOP thus saving both the conservative movement and our country.

I urge you and your husband and every other conservative Freeper to get involved in your local GOP today, not wait unti next year's primaries nor 2012. By then it will be too late to bring about the drastic changes to the party needed in order to insure conservative victories. Also, convince any conservative friends, family, or acquaintances to do the same. We have the numbers to dethrone the RINOs from their leadership positions. What we have lacked in recent years is the will. We have allowed RINOs to lead us around by the nose for far too long, and it has brought us to near ruin. NOW is the time to take the party and country back from the liberal Ds and Rs.

Keep screaming about RINOs, you're really making a difference. Really.

Come on admit it, you are really Megan McCain, right?

How to recall a Senator

The 18 states allowing for recall are as follows: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin.

Sorry but Texas has no provision.

And on top of all of that: HE’S FREAKIN ORANGE !

You're right and it gives me an idea:
(1) Charlie Crist is orange (too much Coppertone or whatever).
(2) The orange is the state fruit.
(3) Why not just go ahead make Charlie the official state fruit.

* A lot of people say he's a bit "light in the loafers" anyway.

That's a shame. It looks like citizens of all those other states need to get started on passage of laws that would allow recalls (myself included). The voters in the states that do allow recall of Senators need to get busy in using it to remove liberals from power and elect conservatives in their place.

Would you happen to know how to go about removing Cornyn from Chairman of the Republican Senatorial Committee?

The leader of the Tea Party group I was affiliated with did not agree with me and wanted to be totally non partisan and did not want to be involved in registering people to vote. Needless to say, we had a parting of the ways.

They said they did not like the direction I was trying to take by being more active in the poltical arena. Well sorry, if we have no power, we have no voice. It was obvious that many of the people that attended the party in May were political newcomers who were ripe for the picking to get politically informed and therefore more active in the community.

Protesting is good but if we don’t put that into action we have nothing. Follow the Founders of our country, they did more than protest!

We could get federal money too just like ACORN.

I think it’s a great idea to sign people up.

How long does it take per person to sign up? Any idea?

My wife and I went to Greenbay TP and had a great time.

Looking forward to the 4th although I’m not sure where the closest TP wil be.
