You got that right. If we don’t get people organized, we can not combat the cabal of interest groups that spend millions and have foot soldiers by the thousands.

If there is a July 4th Tea Party in your area, set up a table with voter registrations. Have the speaker point out the table. You don’t have to tell people how to vote, they are there to show they are mad and feel powerless.

I am in sales, and I have always believed, when a customer calls you, they are open to buy. When someone comes to a gathering they are ready to listen and get involved.

Crist handed Florida to McCain.

Sarah Palin drew the crowds in Florida, probably larger crowds than Crist ever did.

Yeah, but Crist opened up last minute voter registration, which benefited McCain. I have come to the conclusion that the help that McCain received in the primary came from the SEIU, that McCain was trying win over. I think it was the SEIU in both Florida and New Hampshire.

Everyone is enjoying their own rants these days. My “way or the highway” not “Conservative enough” “RINO” and will not support the “Republican Party”, Please give a thought to were MOST of the voting public's philosophies are, and that is NOT hard right. A good candidate will convince voters that he/she is right, not throw them away if they do not agree on all issues.

... the help that McCain received in the primary came from the SEIU, ...

You're probably correct. McCain definitely got a truckload of crossover votes in the primary.

The Democrats figured he would be easiest to beat, and even if he won they would still have a Democrat in the White House.

ACORN and SEIU members vote early and often. McCain visited the SEIU convention and spoke to them on immigration. I am very certain that he got help in the primary election from SEIU thugs.

Thanks for the ping! Glad to see mention of Chuck Devore.

I’m so sick of these “national committee” choosing loosers for California like Carly Fiorina, Schwarzenegger, Rosario Marin, etc.
Even when we “win,” we lose.

They need to either get the message or get quit meddling!

Devore (no Carly) ping.

The DeVore campaign closely watched the NRSC’s decision on Crist, because the national committee has talked to former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina about entering the race and elbowing DeVore — considered too conservative to win a statewide election — out of the race.

“Our main concern is that the NRSC is picking winners and losers,” said Hart. ... the NRSC’s record is one of complete failure over the last few years. Carly’s new to politics and has decent name recognition? We’ve been down that road before in California. His name was ‘Arnold.’”

DeVore... contrasted his record with Fiorina’s tacit support of the economic stimulus and the national party’s belief that self-funding, “inexperienced, dilletente politican wannabees” could save the party in California. “That’s the path of least resistance and it leads to defeat,” said DeVore. “Even if they win some seats, they will wind wind up with principle-less individuals who perpetuate themselves in power. We saw what happened with that in 2006 and 2008. If we want the GOP to succeed in the future we need to get back to what makes us different than the Democrats.”

Note to RNSC -- get lost!

Chuck Devore for United States Senate

Since you are very certain you shouldn’t have any problem offering evidence to back up your accusation.

It’s difficult to pin down the SEIU and ACORN thugs, but there was plenty of evidence of an outside influence in the New Hampshire primary, an awful lot of cars with NY license plates that showed up outside the polling places.

We’ve been learning more and more about the ACORN rent-a-thugs and the SEIU and their activities in NY. The MO just fits what happened in Florida, as well. ACORN and the SEIU are criminal enterprises.

That's worth a contribution to his campaign from every self-professed conservative in this state.

$Agreed$. I just wonder how this is going to play out. The National folks seem to be the one pushing RINO Fiorina. I'm wondering if the Wilsonegger crown have their own favorite. It seem you have to fight off both before you even get to the election where the people get to choose. Chuck seems to have been making the rounds to local Republican events and such. Hopefully the grass roots will rise up and tell the elitists where to go. I don't want to see another Bill Jones/Rosario Marin embarrassment.
