NEW YORK – A Gallup Poll released Friday found that 51 percent of Americans now call themselves pro-life rather than pro-choice on the issue of abortion, the first time a majority gave that answer in the 15 years that Gallup has asked the question.

There has never been a majority support for the left’s idea of abortion on demand. It is good to see this shift though. If only the GOP leadership would get the message. We really need to totally wipe out the leadership on the national committees. They need to be made even more irrelevant than they already are with their licking the boots of Democrats.

That is very encouraging.

Best news I've had today! Even better news: 'pro-choice' only polling at 45%.

This is Sarah Palin’s statement on the new Gallop Poll.

“This is promising news,” Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) told POLITICO through a spokeswoman. “Every life is precious and has purpose.”

Palin’s a peach. I hope she makes a serious run in ‘12.

I hope so too. I’d work my hardest to help get her elected, campaign for her, raise money for her, whatever it takes. I admire her so much..she never backs down

Many may say that they are pro-life but will continue to support Obama policies. These are the Catholics that I know who voted for Obama claiming that “there are other issues besides abortion at stake.”

Well, yes it is disappointing that the majority of Catholics vote the way they do. But this is good news. If something so polarizing, and that the libs had such a plurality on not too long ago can swing in our favor, anything is possible.

If we push long enough, and hard enough in the right direction, we can move mountains. I see this as further proof of Conservatism beginning to hit critical mass in the US.
