Lucky for him it is before our socialized medicine kicks in. Another one too old to waste resources on in our upcoming free healthcare for all society.
May God bless him with the faith to trust Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior!
Amen
Hospital better count their sheets after he’s discharged.
I hope the hospital bed he’s on has nice clean white sheets.
Swine flu.
Byrd epitomizes the reason for term limits for representatives and senators. These people just will not leave and let others govern. They are not statesmen who serve for a couple terms, then hand over the chair to another. They are careerist politicians. They begin to think it’s their spot. Their right.
We see the same thing in a host of others. More often than not, the ones that hang on forever hurt us, more than help us. Kennedy. Specter. Kohl. Sheets Byrd. Thurmond.
Time for term limits. If you won’t be statesmen and women on your own, and serve for a little while, then go back to your own businesses and interests after a couple terms, we need to mandate that you do.
It’s probably just a mild case of swine flu, given all of the pork he’s gotten his hands on over the years.
Just quit senator.
Please.
Enjoy your retirement.
Nothing at all.
He needs a wheelchair now to get around. I saw him being wheeled into a hearing the other day on TV and frankly he very thin and frail.
Another doddering, drooling, senile old man who is nothing more than a marionette being manipulated by staff and lobbyists.
I wish him a speedy recovery.
But I’m thinking allowed — What if someone like Rush wished that the disease would take his life ? Would there be a non-existent mainstream media backlash in the same manner where there was a non-existent mainstream media backlash when Wendy Sykes wished Rush’s kidney would fail ?
The W.V. governor, although Dem, is supposedly an NRA member and pro-life. If Byrd kicks it, it would be interesting to see who he appoints.
I wish him well. At times I have hated him,but he redeemed himself in my eyes when he sent the Kenyan Marxist a letter and told him he was abusing his executive power. He is believes the Constitution matters and he a Christian. Beliefs matter more to me than party.
hopefully he won’t be leaving soon.
my revulsion over his klan history and anger over his decades long Porkulus Spendarama down in West Virginia has been overtaken by pity for an old and sick man who seems to have lost most of his mental faculties. His last few turns at the Senate rostrum were painful to watch.
I am sure all the democrat KKK are praying for his recovery.
The guy has caused me quite a few laughs over the years! I always think of Byrd when Cartman starts a rant on South Park.
