I remember a while back when the puppeteer of Lambchop fame died. My hubby came in and said he had just heard on the radio that Jerry Lewis had died. I was quite upset as I am a fan and went to check news sites and the TV to find out. After informing quite a few people via the internet, I found out it was SHARI Lewis who had died.
I was hoping to hear that. Thanks!

Despite rumors spreading rapidly this morning, actor Patrick Swayze has not died. “This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida,” his publicist said in a statement. “Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment.” Swayze, 56, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in January 2008. In July of that year, he began working 12-hour days, while undergoing chemotherapy, on the A&E drama series The Beast. The show debuted in January 2009. The season finale aired last month.
Glad to hear he is still alive and I certainly hope he is not suffering. Such a terrible disease.

All three of my father-in-laws died of pancreatic cancer -- a brutal way to go.
One man named Marcus Garvey actually died as the result of reading his own premature obituary in the newspaper!
Arthur Nobel came up with the Nobel Peace Prize as the result of reading his own premature obit calling him "a merchant of death".
And Mark Twain had premature obits printed about him twice!
