I have done so, dozens of times. Actually, HUNDREDS of times if you count Precinct Committee races.

Well, I did manage campaign against a RINO congressman. Lost. I also ran a LP district for a couple of years, organized Income Tax Day demos, put out a newsletter and did a few other things.
