Shouldn't that be "give BACK" the God-given right to slef-protection the government has denied its citizens for YEARS!?

No. It just had to get set for a vote by the Calendars Committee. That is where most bills go to die. I am truly amazed and excited by this turn of events. This will set the stage for the repealing of more defenseless victim zones in the next legislative session.
