BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Abu Ahmed says he was there: An Iraqi held prisoner at Abu Ghraib by the American military when inmates were abused.
He says he was kept naked and saw other naked inmates stacked onto a pile while photos were taken, photos that would become public and bring shame to the United States.
The pain of the past few years is clearly etched on the man's face and equally obvious as he talks. It began October 1, 2003, he says, when U.S. troops came to his home and detained him during a sweep of his neighborhood.
The next day, he was processed and put into Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad.
"They made us take off all our clothes, even our underwear," recalled the man who is afraid to reveal his identity, instead offering up the alias of Abu Ahmed.

CNN. A name you can trust... for propaganda.
“They made us take off all our clothes, even our underwear,”
“I’ve never changed my underwear... this was an outrage!”
CNN LOL who would have guessed
“He says he was kept naked and saw other naked inmates stacked onto a pile while photos were taken”
...boo f’n hoo! Better to be naked and seeing your fellow ragheads naked than to burn alive, jump from 80 stories or die on impact at the WTC, isn’t it pussyboy?!
I’d like to ask the ex-inmate how many he killed or helped to kill for his cause?
Would he prefer to have taken immediate delivery on his pile of virgins or maybe breathed a while longer? I guess we know the answer to that one. He’s still breathing, huh.
So, your point is?
The guy is lucky, he still has his head, so he can talk.. a lot of people were not so lucky..
This crybaby and the nits at CNN ought to watch a few episodes of “Locked up Abroad.”
I question the timing.
Hey, didn’t they have the guys from Gitmo to keep it on point?
Nevermind, this is the station that ignored Saddam gassing villages so they could keep an office there, and show sniper head shots killing our troops on TV.
Knowing the journalistic standards at CNN, I won’t be surprised if ‘Abu Ahmed’ turns out to be a fraud.
“this is the station that ignored Saddam gassing villages “
I hate the bigoted media!
Count on CNN to put an Anti-American slant on it. Fact is what those soldiers were doing was contrary to Army regulations and its field manual at the time, which is why the Army put the perps in jail.
So, I guess the presstitutes' view is if Obama won't give 'em the pix they want, they'll just do Abu Graib again. Jerks.
And the damage is done. CNN-Obama has just brought Abu Ghraib back into the consciousness of The Sheep.
Funny, this guy’s memories exactly match the pictures that were released but reveal nothing new.
Lets see, no panties, 09/11, 09/11, no panties.
Wow, that is a tough one...
I guess these guys never went to junior high and high school and had gym class. We didn’t wear panties in there while we were showering.
I will say, that some of the guys would once in a while pick on another guy, and oh the humanities... it may have actually involved other discomforts.
I actually saw some of this. One day a guy’s clothes were tossed in the shower and he couldn’t change into dry clothes. I saw this with my own eyes. Another time we saw other guys hiding a guy’s shoes. Again, I was forced to watch as they did this. One day a guy got mad at another guy who had made a pass at his girlfriend, and poked him in the eye. I saw this too. One day in the cafeteria, I saw some guy steal another guy’s biscuit. Now that was tough.
We all lived to laugh about it later. Waking up in a cold sweat from the nightmares caused by those days subsided right after the events. Oh wait, I never had them.
I guess the real problem is that while they spell it ‘tough guy’ in Iraq, we spell it ‘wuss’ over here.
CNN the Islamist network. The other thing is if you watch CNN you would think 70% of the population is African American. Every story is about an AA person and I never watch it. I get stuck seeing it in airports. I went to a McDonalds months ago because I never go in a MCD and it was spewing it’s propaganda there too.
CNN is unwatchable.
Plunges into the middle-east...
I can see the rest of his body sticking out of the sand now...
"They are so poor, and they are so black..."
These "terrorists" appear to be moderate Al-Queda - ya know, the ones that sterilize their knives before cutting off the heads of Americans.
Why would he want to remain anonymous? Haven't we seen him in his birthday suit already? Or is it because he doesn't even exist? I mean, it is CNN.
Oh cry us all a river, Abu Ahmed.
Be sure to thank Allah for the support of propaganda networks such as CNN in airing your claims.
“The pain of the past few years is clearly etched on the man’s face and equally obvious as he talks.”
He saw naked people. Oh, the humanity. Maybe for equal time, CNN will show the video of people jumping off the eightieth floor of the WTC. Ya’ think?
“He says he was kept naked and saw other naked inmates stacked onto a pile while photos were taken, photos that would become public and bring shame to the United States.”
This happened in 2003... and I haven’t seen them and I KNOW the media would have had a field day with them.
So did CNN even question this? I know the answer to that, but still. If they were to taken to become public in the United States, and they didnt’, should we question the whole damn thing?
SERE training at its finest.
Either that or he was at the latest kegger at Arizona State University.
He says he was kept naked and saw other naked inmates stacked onto a pile while photos were taken
Yeah and that probably gave all of the “inmates” erections . . .
Reuters must have been out feeding their goat.
How did this apparently unauthorized maltreatment of prisoners at Abu Ghraib come to be confused with “torture”, anyway? There was no official objective to the hazing and inappropriate posing and photographing of those prisoners that were being held at Abu Ghraib, nor was any actionable intelligence ever derived by the persons (none of whom were trained interrogation specialists) who participated in this farce. The US Army did the appropriate thing and court-martialed the miscreants, then went after the officers further up the chain of command to determine who, if anybody, ordered these renegade soldiers to participate in what is an act punishable under the UCMJ.
So far as may be determined, no officer actually ordered this series of acts of maltreatment of prisoners, the GI’s involved apparently were bored and doing all this on their own initiative. Abu Ghraib had NOTHING to do with Guantamano, yet the two locations are somehow paired in people’s minds.
The really stupid thing - taking pictures. Don’t EVER take pictures if you are just screwing around.
Who didn’t expect this? The MSM bringing up Abu Ghraib in order to muddy the Gitmo waters, after Obama took a bath in the speeches today.
CNN, et. al. drag out Abu Ghraib like the nephews hauling around the corpse in “Weekend at Bernies”.
There is no relationship from one to the other except in minds of the ‘hope and change’ crowd that, like Navin Johnson in the “Jerk”, can’t tell the difference between sh!t and shinola.
As for how Gitmo and Abu Ghraib acted as a ‘recruitment tool’ for the terrorists - the only way that could be is if some smart Arab thought that three square meals and all the luxuries of Gitmo would be better his miserable existence under some tyrannical dictator.
There’s no such thing of ‘inspiring’ someone by the relatively ‘polite’ treatment even with EITs, when their own _behead_ their own people. These guys can’t be ‘shocked’ by us into ‘doing the right thing’... they already hated us before Gitmo and Abu Ghraib, when they cheered and danced in the streets on 9/11. Give me a break...
I would not be surprised if he were offered a position at CNN as a foreign affairs correspondent.
"Wait... that was a bath house in Pelosi's district. Nevermind."
"Wait... that was at Barney Franks place, Nevermind."
Abu. after 9/11, I still have a hard time looking at muzzl'ems without a scowl on my face.
What a wimp. He thinks torture is not having clothes. He should talk to our Korean and Vietnam vets. Or the families of people who had a loved one have his head sawed off by allah's people.
Hey, Abu, after what you describe, it'd be hard for me to look at an Iraqi.
Right and a real Arabian Prison.
Sounds to me like Tuesdays at Anderson Cooper’s loft.
And after this “torture” he was accepted into the Alpha Beta Soupa fraternity — PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE
CNN ash holes just go away and take this scumbag with you.
