I’d bet that somebody opened some porn pics from their personal flash drive and unleashed the virus.

I’m fine withn the BSD part of that, anything Unix decimates Winblows, but why would you involve the government?

Mac OS is proprietary, closed-source software.

It would be more accurate to describe Mac OS X as a combination of open source and proprietary code.
