The last time Rolling Thunder roared into Washington, the president welcomed the riders in the White House driveway with a smile on his face and heartfelt personal greeting. This year, maybe not.

Few of our Presidents ever have enough anti-Americans on their guest lists that they could get away with that, but with Obama, nobody's gonna' miss just one, or even two. He could sacrifice one every year and not hit bottom in that bucket of cr*p.

Now if Rolling Thunder was in California or somewhere else he could get to fly the big plane on, he might show.
He might fool us and show up in Myrtle Beach with the black bikers there this weekend.
I was part of the welcoming program in Jackson, MS for the Southern contingent as they make their way to DC. About 800 bikers, that’s just the bikes friends, not counting support groups.
Obama can just keep pretending that real Americans don’t count but he’s in for a rude awakening.
The Jackson, MS (courtesy Jackson Harley-Davidson) hosted a number of MOH recipients, POWs, Navajo Code Talkers, Marine CPL Dustin Lee’s (KIA Iraq) bomb-sniffing dog Rex and many more outstanding folks. Navy unit band did the Quarter Deck ceremony honoring highly decorated veterans, it was great to be around such people.
I was thinking that next to these folks Obama is such a pathetic wimpy pretender with no credibility whatsoever.

I am not a part of Rolling Thunder, but I can empathise with their position. I am a Viet Vet, and all of my scars are on the front....I didn't get any while running away.

Don’t be surprise if Obama DOES make an appearance before Rolling Thunder. This is the kind of story that the Clinton’s used to float — right before they did the opposite. That way the Media would applaud them for their ‘bravery’.
Obama’s handlers will make sure that the authentic bikers are well back so that the TV crew’s directional microphones do not pickup too many boo’s. The sound editor will fix the rest.
We can’t go because our little Podengo just had surgery and I can’t leave her alone for another 5 days.
[and it’s probably for the best because I do NOT want to be within 20 miles of the pretender, any way]
I wonder if W could be persuaded to attend the “God Bless America” run to the Martinsburg WV run in June?
He’d be mobbed by happy vets and bikers....:)

“Operation: God Bless America XIX”
Motorcyclists ride for veterans registration will be: 9:30 to 11:30am at the travel center at i-81 north exit 5 and route 16. Greencastle, Pa.
$10.00 per person donation... departure is set for 12:00 noon- destination to Martinsburg VA hospital, Martinsburg, WV.
Agenda: arrival at Martinsburg WV at 1:00 ceremony and presentation of monies at 2:30 helmets required; as we will be traveling into states that have helmet laws.
Held rain or shine.
There will be a picnic and entertainment for the patients and bikers.
Come support our veterans and spend a day with them.
Here is a way that you can now thank them personally for serving our country.

How do you edit out a half million boos without it looking *really* obvious?
Still like to see Obama make a sacrifice of some of his friends.
What is 'obvious' to you & me is not obvious to some middle-of-the-roader who is casually channel-surfing through the News. Fox will play the story *with* the boos, so that they can comment on the reception the president got. PMS-NBC will sanitize the sound-track to the best of their ability while only showing a 10-sec. soundbite of Obama's best line (in their view, of course). The boos will still be somewhat noticeable. And if they can't filter them adequately they will simply show the Secret Service hauling off a protester or 2.
I spoke to two black guys at the Wawa yesterday and they were on their way down for Black Bike Week so Myrtle didnt really do anything except cut back on money being made for business's. Next year and the year later will tell the story. perhaps when they see what they are losing they may decide to have the fall Rally and rethink having the Spring one.

Pretty much allows Obama to charactarize the meeting any way he wants. Rolling Thunder must make a ‘boiler-plate’ statement as well. So Obama pulls it off.
When Hillary Clinton was booed by many first responders in Madison Square Garden soon after nine eleven, whoever produced the CD of the event succeeded in removing these sounds. The DBM loves the leftist Dems and uses every weapon, including technology-produced lies, to help them.
