Habitat Stamp Tax
Excellent. Thank you.
Is this for disposal fees?
State sales tax on all compounded tobacco taxes.
Habitat Stamp Tax
Is this a requirment for Hunting and Fishing Licenses? If so, it is not voluntary (as the website suggests) and therefore a tax. Requirment is not clear, but appears so...
Thank you!
“... (Licensing Fees) that vary from state to state on...”
I saw barbers, pedicurists, manicurists but didn’t see beauticians.
In PA we have the duck hunting tax stamp.
Thank you! Is this seperate from or additional to the regular license fee? Like the Trout Tax, on top of a fishing license?

Thank you. I hope they don’t have to pay them all!
Thank you - we had that, but it got folded in to Property Tax...is this the one you mean? Notice it is another way for us to buy someone a house...
Unlike property taxes, real estate transfer taxes are state and local taxes that are assessed on real property when ownership of the property is transferred between parties. These taxes are used in many areas to fund programs designed to preserve rapidly depleting open spaces in commercial or residential areas, and to fund housing programs for low-income residents. However, transfer taxes are not without controversy.
I guess the tax is for real rats and not 'Rats. Too bad.
Also not included in your list are the thousands of charges we pay for "government services." Examples include turnpike tolls, park entrance fees, and many more. One might even throw oil lease bonuses, production royalties, patent licenses and other charges into that category. And how about school related mandates such as tuition at state colleges, lab fees, textbook rental fees, and gym charges.
Then, you could throw in tens of thousands of special levies -- for everything from hospitals and schools to sports complexes.
Don't forget the thousands of different fines that are/can be collected -- everything from parking tickets to late payment fees for taxes to turning in books late at libraries.
And what about permits? Are those voluntary?
And then we could talk about imposed costs of doing business -- from OSHA to continuing professional education to special inspections.
Finally, don't forget the crushing burden of the cost of governmental regulation -- from senseless labeling to environmental protection to fuel conservation.
Sigh.

I know. We have folded a lot into the list and are trying to make it manageable enough for someone to take in and identify with in a broad sense so they are more and more uncomfortable as they go down the list. It could literally be thousands of listings, but we are trying to make the point that we are literally taxed every which way but loose - and there will soon be tons of new ones and increases on the old ones. Sigh, indeed...thank you so much for your list...
Rats. I hate rats.
