What the Press, the Democrats and the Republicans all failed to see was that the Swifties had no party agendas. There were probably as many Democrat swifties as Replublcan swifties. It had nothing to do with party; it was 100% Swifties vs. Kerry on a personal level. Kerry had dragged our names through the mud, it was then time to clear the air of decades of lies and tell the truth the way it happened and not the way Kerry fabricated it.

I thought at the time, and think now, that I would have died of shame had some 200 people, who worked with me at some time in my life, questioned both my bravery and my integrity. The Kerry affair has only served to convince me that most politicians lack a moral compass and simply cannot be shamed.

I’m sure you are correct. Kerry was hideously besmirching the reputations of American servicemen in Vietnam and—surprise!!—a lot of them refused to put up with it. Who the f-— was Kerry to think he could film his ‘Nam activities, create a heroic persona for himself, smear the crap out of men who served honorably, and get away with it?
