WASHINGTON The delivery of nearly 500,000 individual letters sent by Fed Ex to the 100 U.S. senators objecting to a "hate crimes" bill approved by the House has, according to some sources familiar with the process, stalled approval of legislation that has been condemned as "The Pedophile Protection Act."

Everyone except heterosexual white males.
Hate crimes = thought crimes. You will be jailed for thinking different.
I’ve always thought that there is legal argument to be made regarding special privileges given to a segment of the population, which goes against the idea that “all men are created equal.” It seems like a logical counter-argument to these special laws for gays, but I have yet to hear it from any politician.
I hate anyone who supports this legislation.
this bill only increases penalties for violent crime. It doesn’t anything you say or any opinion you have, unless you also commit violent crime. It certainly does not do some of the things its accused of - you won’t see Christians arrested for saying that homosexuality is wrong nor is it a “pedophile protection act.” WND is wrong.
That said, I totally and absolutely object to hate crimes legislation in general - violence aimed at individuals should be prosecuted equally and violence aimed at terrorizing a group is already covered under terrorism laws. The very idea of special protections for select groups violates the constitution.
I call on the court to respectfully rule on equal creation.
Is the court homosexual and rejects its homosexuality or is this homosexual man on trial heterosexual and he rejects his heterosexuality?
5k people ponied up $11 each for this? So you took in $55k for a project that cost maybe $10k and the result was 500,000 copies of letters dumped in the garbage?
Wow, I’ll have to remember this scam! It’s a beaut!
Hate crimes = NO freedom of thought or religion and the loss of parental rights if you are against teaching your young children the normalcy of perversion.
Hate crimes = the teaching of illogical concepts to children, gives GOVERNMENT the power to FORCE YOU to brainwash young children into immorality and against any true Christian religion or true Judaism religion.
Homosexual rights are all about eliminating Christian philosophy from the public square like they did in Europe.
The article points out that the Senate had already received 300,000 leters generated by individual Americans decrying this legislation a month ago, and now has received the additional 500,000 as a result of the WND effort.

Does this mean a defense to a traffic ticket could be that they are discriminating against my (make up an -ism) love of my dead turtle buried in my backyard 15 years ago?
They are going to dilute the meeting of these ‘Special” protections to the point they are meaningless and they just cause the courts to lock up.
“Which -ism wins?”
Totally agree. Violence committed against others usually doesn't result from an excess of love.
