...but he was also in the middle of his divorce, and his soon-to-be ex wife was going to get 50% of everything that had sprung from the time they were living together...

Also his share of some sports team - the Ravens? - so he tried to force the property division through before the divorce so as to cut her out of that, too, but IIRC, that didn't work.

About three-quarters of the books I own are out-of-print. I have to really like an in-print book to keep a copy at home. The library has a lot more space than I do, and now that ours has on-line requesting, anything I want to re-read is only a few clicks away.

Amazon people treated her very well from the beginning to the upcoming publication.

Of course they treated her well, she's a paying customer. Amazon is strictly a pay-to-play deal.
