Thanks for the transcript!
You’re welcome...dvr comes in handy. ;)
The miserable POS also told the world that US troops massacred Germans at Malmedy — yes, he is that stupid.
I forgot about those body language segments. I'm sure there's something to body language. It can be used as a clue, as to how well you are interacting with someone, but O’Reilly acts like it's the answer to everything. It just doesn't belong on a news channel, anymore than the Dallas cheerleader segments.
I like Neil Cavuto's program, a lot more than O'Reilly. He's not as entertaining as Glenn Beck, but he also has a lot of newsworthy segments on his show.
“Please, please, please, OH God, please make them stop putting the mindless robots on Fox News. Please have them pick out some conservatives or liberals NOT ASSOCIATED with the parties, not Dem consultants, and not Fox associates, and let us hear what truly thoughtful people have to say.”
Paging Pat Cadell. He’s always speaking his mind and let’s the chips fall. I like that. And Kirsten Powers has also been that way to a more limited extent.
Beck, Hannity, and Special Report are great shows.
I think it is time for Mr. Beck to go prime time.
I agree about Neil Cavuto.
I caught it (thanks to blinkotv.com). BOR doesn’t seem to understand the differences in media. He says his show filters out the inappropriate, but that’s his brief, televised show; an internet forum is as different from that as live theater from cinema. It’s completely impractical to edit, manicure and stylize a forum the way they do a television show. Jim Robinson doesn’t confine FR to three or four comments a day, that he reads to his viewers. BOR’s attempt to equate the two was ignorant.
“Saying BOR is an elitest gasbag is an observation, not name calling. It happens to be an accurate description of the man.”
Remember, 99.99999% of instances of hypocrisy are actually only in the mind of the observer.
At the same time we must always keep in mind that Moslems set the penalty for "hypocrites" at DEATH!
Leftwingtards would like to do that but thankfully we are much better armed than they are
‘...I figgered there was a reason she’d do O’Reilly’s show and not Beck’s. ...’
exactly. Beck is ‘putting it to them’ and trying to get to the truth where BOR is still giving everyone ‘the benefit of the doubt.....’
again... Buck Fill O’Reilly.
He has lost a viewer for good....
Yup! Beck is very insightful and funny. Push him in BOR’s slot and that rating would rocket. I’m never home in time to watch live but the DVR catches it. Put Bill in Beck’s current slot and that saves time and energy consumption from my DVR.
I may be on to something here.
Bill O’Reilly: Fair to the Left and Mentally Unbalanced:-)
He has the ability to use his show to hurt Free Republic's reputation. He also uses his show to further Obama’s socialist programs. I want to call attention to his motives and to let Fox News know they are losing their core viewers with O’Reilly’s continued support of Obama’s left wing socialist agenda.
‘...If my husband hears BO remark how brillant Obama is, like its a known fact, the TV is going out the window. ..’
I’ve emailed O’Reilly three times asking him to explain what facts he is using to label Obama as ‘brilliant’. No reply.
Drives me crazy when he does this.....shrewd, shifty, manipulative.....yes; brilliant....where’s the evidence?
I've got to admit, I even like Greta better than O’Reilly. At least she was fair to Sarah Palin.
“The Great One slams BOR:
Thanks so much for putting this site up. I went there, listened to Mark Levin, and can only conclude that he nailed O’Reilly correctly as a “jerk”.....in fact he kept emphasizing the “jerk” part over and over and I liked it more every time he said it.
Isn’t Levin’s unofficial handle here on FR “the great one” or something similar?
The N word gets 3 hits
A.. Ho.. gets 7 hits
Levin is always called “The Great One” by Sean Hannity for sure! Can’t speak for everyone here, but I agree with Hannity:-)
Of course he wouldn't, because that would make Jim's case that O'Reilly IS an elitist gasbag.
Yes, Jim. Tsk, tsk, tsk. You just need to do a better job of moderating. Bill has spoken.
Beck's strength is that he's new, bright, hip, techno-savvy, fun, unbelievably insightful, and extremely well informed.
O'Reilly's strength is that he's a master of the old media, it's heavy-weights, its forms and style, and it's "gentlemanliness."
The bottom line -- Beck is the future. No way they can give Beck O'Reilly's time slot....but they can give him the 7 PM slot of Shepard "Katrina Histrionics" Smith!
That would enable a legitimate comparison of Beck and BO.
BO was so proud that the “smear merchants” at Media Matters gave him kudos for dismissing the ACORN/Census story the other night. As if Media Matters momentarily ceased to be a “vicious hate site” just long enough to pat Bill on the back for a job “well done”.
I wonder how he’d like it if Stormfront started giving him props.
Don’t dare mess with Bill O’Reilly.
If you make him angry, he’ll just demand phone sex from you!
He threw softballs at them.
“O’Reilly agreed that both had points but that the sites should better monitor their comments as he does at his site and that O’Reilly would hold both right and left wing sites accountable.”
Mr. O’ Reilly thinks highly of himself doesn’t he.
Yes, he was soft on them. Annoyingly so.
And he will loofa your ass!
As if he personally moderates his site.
Have any of ya’ll been on the FoxNation message board site? Its nothing but bickering between posters with lots of foul and racist language allowed to stand. No one is monitoring that website. Shame on BOR for not criticizing his own network's site before he condemn others.
He is being the "Supreme Admin Moderator" in his view.
BOR,like Bush, went to Harvard Grad. school.
O'Reilly, there's no comparison between leftists sites and Free Republic in vitriolic comments made. You're comparing an amoeba to a multi-cellular animal for lack of a good analogy, with FR being the one cell amoeba. Do yourself a favor Bill, spend some time reading their comments of what they said about the previous administration then you'll understand.
What’s the controversy?
O’Reilly IS an elitist gas-bag... on his good days!
The worst is Beckel!
What do you bet that his show tomorrow night mentions FR and the word "vitriol" in the same breath?
Somebody let me know as I will not be watching. I've had enough of him and his RUDE talking over guests.. especially female ones.
I keep hoping Megyn Kelly will call him out on that crap.
This man has some nerve. Here he is, the insane man who threatened to, you know, spit on me, last night, complaining that the extremes on both sides of the political debate are guilty of coarsening the debate. Thanks to Allahpundit for clipping the unstomach-able clip.
We guess Michelle Malkin won't be coming to town to guest-host for Bill O'Reilly anymore. She just quit forever, after a three-way conservative-pundit street fight that has left our minds reeling a little bit. For those weren't paying attention (we weren't, until now), what happened was this: Crazy attention whore Geraldo Rivera told the Boston Globe that crazy attention whore Malkin was "the most vile, hateful commentator I've ever met
Its good shes in D.C. and Im in N.Y. Id spit on her if I saw her. Later, when O'Reilly asked him if he wanted to say something about it on the show because, he said, Malkin's "feelings were hurt." (Saying this he came across, weirdly, as almost grandfatherly and sane.) Rivera did apologized for his "ungentlemanly" and "ungallant" words "I never spit!" he said but couldn't help qualifying that he disagreed with everything Malkin said and basically indicating that he thought she was an asshole.
