Even as he conceded there is still much hard work to do, President Obama was in a boastful mood Wednesday night, telling a star-studded crowd at a fundraising dinner that he "would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR."

The president, speaking to a dinner that included Hollywood A-listers like Kiefer Sutherland, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg, lauded the legislation he has signed since taking office but added that he is "not satisfied."

"I'm confident in the future, but I'm not yet content," Obama said.

The celebrity dinner, which cost couples $30,400 to attend...

That would be a very bad idea Obambi... Not even "Jimmy Carter" trashed the country as badly as you did in so short a period...

he "would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR."

Unemployment doubling in 4 months, Iran and North Korea on the brink of nuclear war with the west. Chrysler and GM bankrupt. A scandal emerging every day....

There's no comparison.

"would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR."

He used to like to compare himself to Lincoln.

By this point in his administration, Lincoln already had a "shooting" civil war in-progress.

0bama's falling behind.

This celebutard list shows what I have pointed out on threads about the TV show 24 to FReepers who ga-ga over Kiefer Sutherland, as if he IS the character Jack Bauer that he plays.

Kiefer is a huge Leftist. He just doesn’t run his mouth about it too often in public.

Funny - I didn’t think boasting about destroying the economy of the United States was anything to brag about.

Actually, I think he may have done more than FDR would have even considered in his wildest dreams.

The Marxist extraordinaire.

And with the full knowledge and consent of the Repubican castrati…

What Obama doesn’t know will hurt him.
The vigilante Bond holders are starting to raise their heads. Interest rates are going up. The dollar is falling.
Things are going to be more expensive as employment rates and wages are falling off the cliff.
Poor Obama.

I didn’t realize it came so quickly under Lincoln.

Yeah, ‘bammy’s gonna usher in CWII. If only he had someone before him that was also causing strife and division along elite/masses lines.

FDR seized all the gold and paid cut rate for it. Then he resold it on the open market and drove the dollar down 70%

All I see is the fawning media and talking heads all aglow with this Marxist and all he does. Go figure. The Repubbies are so cowed that they do not even surface, and when they do are mealy-mouthed. The current pick for the Supremes should raise a HOWL, but only a meow. The GM govt intrusion and bullying has not been met with enough outcry.
The idea of a VAT has been met with silence........I could go on.

I'm frequently haunted by the scene in "The Sound of Music" when Captain Von Trapp confronts Herr Zeller, the Austrian Nazi, during the ball given to announce his engagement to Maria. He has just ripped down the swastika flag and is shredding it when Zeller gives him the warning to support the Anschluss, or else. The chill that went up my spine in that movie is nothing compared to what I'm feeling every day.

The Von Trapps escaped through The Alps. Where can we go?

Yep.

He was elected Nov. 6, 1860. The southern states started seceding over the course of the winter to form the CSA, he was inaugurated on March 4, 1861, and Ft. Sumter came under bombardment on April 12, 1861.
