Again, Kansans For Life, the NRLC affiliate, had the FULL support of the Kansas Bishops, years ago, when ALL, OR and the purists went AGAINST KFL and the Bishops!

Your side opposed the Church!

Well, I do not know the exact circumstance, as she had moved to another town and I was in not in direct contact with her at the time. And it is not, after all, the kind of thing you pry into. Something had gone wrong somewhere with the feotus -it was diseased/not developing properly - something like that. The doctors advised her it would have to be terminated. Don’t know at what stage. I know she was really upset. She got over it - there was no permanent damage - she has three kids now, but I know she was really traumatised.

This is a sign of the times we live in. Blood is being shed all too easily in this society. And the bloodshed will continue and get worst because our government takes sides on every issue based on ideology and not the law this nation was founded on.

Our Supreme Court decided to allow private citizens to legally murder and profit from it. That decision sent us down this road of bloodshed. Now we have a vigilante murdering a doctor that legally practiced murder.

The end of all of this can only be more bloodshed, at best. And anarchy at worst. Because this government will always be ambiguous toward private citizens murdering others.

Kansas does not speak for the Church. The Magisterium speaks for the Church. The encyclicals of the popes speak for the Church.

For a second time (and I may add only the second time I have ever made this request in the ten plus years on FR) please stop posting to me. You truly make me sick.

Interesting stat from www.chargetiller.com:

"Dr. Tiller charges between $5000 and $21,000 per abortion. He has stated in his own words that he has performed 60,000 abortions."

Don't know if it's true, but that's a LOT of blood money right there if it is.

Don’t be so naive. You are now arguing that sometimes, God will say its ok to murder a smiling innocent baby who has offended none. Doesn’t exactly square with murdering this guy today to stop abortion. Infanticide, Murder, Rape of a young girl?

My God didnt will that on those people. That was clearly something Moses did freelance, blamed on God, and wrote it down. That old world Jewish history background stuff is precisely why Jesus came. And now you see the old testament as a roadmap? Ask yourself this. Why is it nearly impossible to buy JUST an old testament?

My priest explained this to me very well.

Other peaceful tactics are to buy the abortionist building and evict them. Or expose their illegal methods to the light and get them closed down.

Another effective method is picketing in front of the abortionist's house, in order to expose him to his neighbors. That really gets them mad, especially if they have to move as a result.

A “positive law” would say:

Abortions are legal in all cases but these: 1.) 2.) 3.)

A NEGATIVE law would say, “Abortions in these cases are ILLIEGAL except for 2.) 2.) 3.)

If “positive” does not mean anything, why use the word?

Again, you need a course in logic and English, as well as law and theology.

Nope, you can not make a stupid statement, support it with irrelevant BOLD TYPE posts, and then ask me not to respond.

FR does not work that way.

I have made my points, however, and you have not refuted any of them, so I do agree that we are done.

Quibble? This is life and death we are talking here. I’m not quibbling. I don’t think its a joke. This is a situation doctors go through. It’s a situation that’s touched me.

You think abortion is absolutely wrong, and never ever should be done. So in the situation earlier, my friend is pregnant and it’s not going well. And according to you, because there cannot be an abortion, the mother-to-be could very well die. And you are saying that is ok?

I have a problem with that.

WE are negotiating to SAVE Lives!

Does the General who has the choice of liberating 3 different concentration camps sin by picking one over another?

Does the cop faced with two armed opponents, aiming guns into a crowd, sin by not trying to kill both of them, with ONE bullet?

You need to get real, get practical, and try to win.

If you do not want to win, get out of politics and pray for those of us WHO DO WANT TO WIN!

At $5,000 to $21,000 per abortion—and approximately 60,000 abortions overall—Tiller’s Clinic must surely rank as one of the most profitable businesses in Kansas.

“Negotiating away the lives of innocent human beings makes me sick as do those who advocate it.”

So in your opinion its better to insist on a complete ban and refuse any reductions in abortions until the complete ban is obtained.

Of course a complete ban is thegoal. That is a political goal and you are asking non-christians to accept your christian justification. Until they become christians they will largely refuse. As has occurred for the past 40 years and ~50 million babies.

I guess you will need to grab a law manual and figure out the difference between a positive law and a negative law. (btw..some can be both):

"Positive laws are those laws which permit or oblige action, whereas negative laws are those which permit or oblige inaction. These permissions or obligations may be of either a legal or moral character. Likewise, the notion of positive and negative rights may be applied to either liberty rights or claim rights, either permitting one to act or refrain from acting, or obliging others to act or refrain from acting."

I hope the guy that killed this abortionist, George Tiller, gets the death penalty for being a murderer, and for being the dumbest piece of crap on Earth.

I'm very much pro-life, and from what I've heard of Tiller, he sounds like he's a real scumbag. That said though, I will never agree with or respect someone who thinks that committing cold blooded murder is the way to advance a political cause, even if it's a cause I believe in such as being pro-life.

As a Christian I wholeheartedly condemn the moron who murdered Tiller and hope his family obtains justice for the loss of their loved one. And I also hope those idiots who have an understanding attitude towards Tiller's murderer get their heads out of their rear ends and think about how this could affect the conservative movement.

Right now we have an administration and congress in Washington that's looking for any excuse to take away every freedom we have and squash our right of dissent. Not only will Obama and the left use this incident to paint all pro-lifers as nut job extremists who need to be monitored and shut down, but since the murderer used a gun, pro Second Amendment folks will be under the same government microscope as the pro-lifers. And if the drive-by media comes out with stories about the murderer being an avid listener of conservative talk radio, Obama and the rats will use this as an opportunity to take over media companies like Clear Channel, as they did with GM and Chrysler, in order to rid the airwaves of those who oppose their socialist agenda like Rush Limbaugh and other conservative hosts.

I believe abortion is the cruelest and most barbaric form of genocide the world has ever known and I would love nothing more than to see it ended immediately. But since I live in the real world and not an idealistic one, I believe the best way to end abortion is to change people's hearts and minds about the issue, and using the political process our founding fathers gave us to change the laws. Killing abortionists will not change any laws or win any hearts and minds in our favor.

The point sure does remain,, that You are wrong to say America is worse than the NAZIS. And now a Grammar Nazi too? Not enough to just defend Hitler as better than America?

And read a language history book sport. English is about the only language that does not have an “academy”. And it has never had any “rules” such as this. It only has conventions, that can be bent to my pleasure if they work well enough to convey my message, as i intended it. The language police have fought your silly battle for over 500 years, and have always lost. Which gave our language a flexibility that has allowed it to take over the world.

In 100 years, nobody who matters will speak anything but english, PRECISELY because nannies like you have been routinely ignored.

You still need to learn how to read.
Your post does NOT refute what I posted.

A law which says that you may NOT perform abortions under most circumstances does NOT mandate abortions under any circumstance, so your lack of logic shows, once more.

The Catholic Church, and all of her Bishops in America, would have absolutely no problem with a Human Life Amendment which included “rape, incest and life of the mother” exceptions, if no better law had a chance of passage.

They would THEN work for a better law.

You can not find a SINGLE Catholic Bishop who agrees with your take on legislative or political strategy.

NOT ONE!

God gave you a mind,,it’s really ok to use it.

I didn’t say worse, you idiot. I said we’ve killed more; a fact you cannot dispute. Killing more innocents in a civilized society, as opposite to killing fewer in a society built for the express purpose of mass murder like Nazi Germany, is a greater feat of evil because it’s far more difficult. That’s why I said satan might see America as the greater accomplishment.

Get it? Of course not. Throw another temper-tantrum, why don’t you.
