The media will use this to attack pro lifers, no matter what the motive for the shooting was. The media will be joined by 0’s administration, and by a Congress that is just aching to pass more anti gun legislation. All pro lifers will be painted as terrorists waiting to strike.

How ironic. Tiller shot and killed at his church.

Sounds like he was quite the hypocritical “Christian,” and whoever killed him was definitely not “prolife.”

Fox News had reported that the suspect was driving a car registered in Merriam, Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City).

Sounds like the guy was driving leisurely back home (probably at 70 or 80 mph)...

I guess so. I’m just thinking that someone would try to grab the shooter so he couldn’t run away. But that’s easy for me to say, sitting here in my living room.

Kansas turnpike speed limit is 70 to 75 depending on where you are.

OK, ELCA, not Episcopal. Thank you.

Hmm. Kansas, eh? For some reason, Kansas is a spiritual ground zero of sorts for this issue. Sebelius, the Easter recess during her confirmation "hearing," and now this.

Mrs. Sebelius, you might want to consider the sacraments anew.

The “best case scenario” would be a completely random act of violence by someone who didn’t have a clue who is was killing, but I sincerely doubt that is the case.

In VA CCW is not allowed in church, courthouse, place that sells liquor for consumption on premises. (If you’re going hunting, go where the deer are unarmed)

WHY didn’t the killer WAIT til Tiller was alone...either going home from Church or sometime else. Seems STRANGE to kill him IN CHURCH with all the witnesses!

Those who stand up to use the to attack the pro-life movement better be careful who and what they defend in the process.

No such thing as a “right-winger pro-lifer”.

Admittedly there was zero justice in Kansas. Tiller owns the entire justice and political system here. Nearly every judge is in his back pocket.

We need to focus on what motivated him to kill Tiller? Why would a church going Dr. be murdered? Was there something about Tiller’s past that angered the killer? While the MSM will be demonizing the pro-choicers, there must a thorough and intensive background into Tiller’s past. The more that people know about Tiller the more likelihood it is that a motivation will be found.
A lot of posters are saying this will set pro-choice back years. Maybe. A lot will depend upon talk-radio. They need to meticuolously document Tiller’s choice of profession. They need to bring in women who might be stigamatized by their decision to see Tiller.
Tiller was killed. A suspect was apprehended. Now, it NOT the time go on defense, rather it’s the time to investigate Tiller’s past, and look for a reason someone would murder him.
I understand there might be 6,000+ reasons, but the vast majority don’t. Now’s the time to unveil who, Dr. Tiller was, and how he made his living.
