Did anyone take notice that his church is an ELCA church. For those of us who are Lutheran nothing else needs to be said about it...
Good job Russ,
May sway a few to stay away from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America
Whats ECLA stand for?
Is it a fact that Reformation Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America? The ELCA?
And not of the Missouri Synod? LCMS?
(for the differences, see: http://www.lcms.org/pages/internal.asp?NavID=2146)
(Notwithstanding the reality that any local church can swing to the left or right of the national denomination.)
ELCA - stay away. Any denomination that is a member of the National Council of Churches has been corrupted to one degree or another and should be avoided. There are good pastors and congregations, but the overall trend is to turn churches into radical leftist political organizations that maybe are allowed to have a slightly religious tinge to them.
I’m not Lutheran. Tell me more.
